Dio says Elagabalus delighted in being called Hierocles's mistress, wife, and queen.[82] The emperor reportedly wore makeup and wigs, preferred to be called a lady and not a lord, and supposedly offered vast sums to any physician who could provide him with a vagina.[82][83] For this reason, the emperor is seen by some writers as an early transgender figure and one of the first on record as seeking sex reassignment surgery.

In the modern era, things are blurry because it's been like a slow frog boiling. I noticed troons coming to prominence years ago and taking over and demanding outrageous recognition and control on places like Something Awful. But IRL they have been manifesting worse and worse to the point where it seems like they are everywhere. Certainly in about 2018 or 2019 when pronouns went from online and college campuses to corporate America, from email signatures of college professors to name nametags of retail and restaurant drones.

They went way too far with two things. Bothering the public with their mental illness and having it enforced by the government and corporations. The other and most severe is when they started bothering kids. Before this it was a like the public grudgingly accepted it. They could do whatever they wanted as long as they didn't bother anyone else and as long as they left kids alone. The worst being messing with the kids. This is what you will hear from most people. As long as they aren't bothering anyone else they don't care what they do. This was the rule our society has functioned with for a long time. Don't bother anyone else and no one cares what you do. As long as you only harming yourself no one cares. Do as you please. But that isn't how things have gone with these weirdos. Leave people alone and the vast majority of them will leave you alone. If they don't that's what we have the second amendment for. At least it's what it was meant for. To keep people out of your face.

But messing with peoples kids was always going to be the last straw. No one cares what adults do themselves or other consenting adults.

The moment I noticed that troons had gone too far was the NC bathroom drama, using law to force everyone to participate in their bullshit. But now that I've learned about what they actually believe, it's all too far and it all needs to be eradicated, from the halls of academia to the aisles of Target.
