When are you going to have friends?

Probably never. Don't get me wrong, I do have friends who will pay for me to go on vacation with them. I live somewhere where it's hard to just go out and talk to someone or do something though.

hopefully i will have them again but i don’t really know how as i don’t live in a very age appropriate area all, of my neighbors have 30+ years on me. as for work everybody at my job is a borderline retard, redditor, or gay/trans so i don’t really want anything to do with them.

Men don't have friends, they have comrades.

That's not necessarily a joke, I feel like especially as a male you bond over shared goals/struggle. Just sort of hanging out usually isn't emotionally fulfilling enough that you're willing to keep going completely out of your way to do it.

So not having friends is what happens when communities are fragmented to the point where next door neighbors can lead completely separate parallel lives, it's no different from the issues with dating/starting a family and everything else. People need some kind of shared goal or direction to form and maintain these types of connections.
