they are cute turtles though....

Hands, hands (lol) down.

I mean you see them everywhere and two (hopefully) are generally attached to the ends of your wrists.

How are those triggering outside of Legend of Zelda games?

I once saw a really dumb trigger warning for Food.

Now, I can understand trigger warnings for eating disorder related things and the like but this was a 1) a tweet, by the time your brain registers the TW it has also registered whatever the hell else you had to say 2) the tweet was 'I just cooked dinner'.

"food" trigger warnings are pretty common from what I have observed

I saw one for "agoraphobia" once, which is odd considering every social network will have avatars of faces staring at the viewer.

I so need a tumblr account... I also hope "TW: eggs" is a super vegan thing.

I made a throaway account there with a super edgy name, but never posted anything. I only followed the fat tags and mental illness tags, because they were fucking hilarious with all that made up bullshit.

I cant really recall if the TW in question was vegan or not, but it was hilarious

Wait what
The poster said tw: honesty before admitting that, in the Nigger Wars between Tana Mongeau and iDubbbz, she thought iDubbbz was in the right, even if he's a dang dirty white man who says the n-word. Apparently having an honest opinion about a shitstorm is triggering.

"cw: dad ment//" was used on the description of fan art about Lee and Clementine.

The old favourite is a post that tells someone to kill themselves, but it's tagged with "tw: suicide mention".
"Scopophobia/eye contact" was the big thing for a while, so any selfies or even drawings of people looking at the viewer would be tagged.

Some people will say to their followers/friends "if you want me to tag something for you then let me know", so it's entirely possible that there are some people who request stupid things just to see what they can get away with.
At least, that's what I would do.

Probably one of the ones in annotations that were added to old Hey Ash Whatcha Playin episodes by Anthony Burch.

Like this one for mild terrorism because they made an anthrax joke.

Worst I've seen in person is someone tagging caps and "comands" (I.E: something like "you'll dance to this beat!" would be tagged under it). I found these two on a blog where literially every post had a content warning on it
Other weird ones I've seen were grandma mention, hands, "loud text" and food for some reason.
