Why are these people so goddamn old? Is there a council of omnipotent filthy rich old farts? Is Barb a member of it á la Mary Lee Walsh at the PVCC? These people are rumoured to have a substantial amount of power over national and international politics and finance, and they are rumoured to have shaped much of the late 20th Century and the Early 21st Century.

So, if that were true, what is to be expected when (and if) they abandon this mortal soil?
