With Chris, everything fails, so I wouldn't doubt that their car failed as well. It costs money and guess where Chris' priority is at the moment. I'm thinking if the car was up and running now, Chris wouldn't go anywhere cause the pandemic, and Barb's concerns relating to it. But that hasn't stopped Chris from bumming rides from his enablers/white knights to get where he wants to go.
If cons ever start up again you can bet Chris will figure out some fucking way to get that vehicle working again so he can hang out with horsefuckers.

Or he'll just persuade some orbiter to drive him for the clout of being able to say ”CWC was in this car” to his fellow weens.

In terms of con ride, chances are, he'll try begging for enough cash to fix the ride or buy a new one; in the off-chance that he somehow, some friggin how has enough white knights to buy him a car, is he even going to be allowed near a dealership?

I never bought a car myself, so I do wonder what does the buying process look like, and at how many points he'd fuck up, outside of picking the dealership and the car itself. Like is there any sort of background check or something in VA?

It'd be easier buying one second hand; it's just the matter of title ownership transfer and registration + insurance.
Knowing Chris, if he buys from a dealership, he'll want the most expensive car and would have to sign a lot of documents even if he can pay the whole thing off. someone would definitely have to be with him when that happens.

Funny scenario: an enabler/white night would buy him a Tesla, and upon learning the car can drive itself, Chris would instantly take advantage of it and make videos while the car is in motion.

This will be some Oregon Trail / Death Road to Canada saga, where your character has zero stats, and dysentry and zombies are replaced with cops, con-security, and the diseases spawned from Barb's corpse in the trunk

Chris should've straighten out after Bob's death. Instead, he spirals further down. By the the time Barb dies, it'll be business as usual for him. He would need someone to help him plan to move out stat.
barb's what? 77 or 78? so lets say shes got another 10 years, Thats a whole lotta time, never know what kinda head space chris will be in

She's turning 80 this October; for comparison, Bob passed away at 84 due to BC14 infestation and heart problems.

Is Barb even controlling CWC much lately? As frail as she is, I heard of her taking money off the tugboat towards house (hoard) expenses and stuff, but the fact remains that is was post-Bob when Tomgirl Saga would hit full swing. Depending on that scale of remaining control, it could be possible to predict the magnitude of impending post-Barb insanity.

i feel for the guy when it happens but for sure it'll make things interesting. the homeless saga or him couch serfing through various weens. didnt someone have a plan to drive him right to a psych ward or half way house when "der tag" (barb's passing) happens? I think the guy got fed up with chris' bs and ditched the plan. forgot were I read that...

I'd put an end date around oct 2025

That's implying Chris would willingly go to a psych ward or that that person would be willing to wrangle Chris.
as a former tard wrangler, I wouldnt bother. If he ever has a worse mental break than the sonics arms arnt blue/ pepper spraying event, and he actually harms someone- then goes on about the merge and how an eletric hedgehog pokemon is currently controlling his body he might just be put in the looney bin against his wishes. Especially if it's posy bard with no one to look after him

If Chris ever has to prove his sanity to avoid being thrown in a loony bin he will suddenly turn into a middle-level retard who is completely boring, for the few minutes it takes to get past Baker Act level scrutiny. Seriously people way more nuts than Chris routinely get around that shit.

CHRIS IS NOT GOING TO A GROUP HOME! EVER! I AM SO FUCKING SICK OF SAYING THIS! IT IS NOT HAPPENING, OKAY?

Does Barb exist canonically in the Sonichu universe? If so, will the comic incarnation of her return in the dimensional merge if she kicks the bucket first?
