Hey, maybe when Barb bites it, Chris will finally get the guidance and instruction he's so desperately needed and wanted his entire life. He is autistic and as we know, they enjoy routines, schedules and whatnot. The problem however is Bob and Barb never encouraged Chris to establish healthy, productive routines, he never learned how his autism affects him and how to work with it to have a life. It might be rough, but here's hoping in the immediate aftermath of Barb's death, someone, somewhere simply tells Chris, "Here's the number to the welfare office, they can help you." From there he'll get a caseworker and they should literally sit him down and tell him what he needs to do to live life. They can help him maintain his welfare, help him get a job (if he wants one at that point) and with the proper encouragement get him to see a therapist "about Barb's death" but as soon as that begins, they will start to help him cope with and manage his autism.

The problem I see though, Chris is stubborn, in his eyes infallible and paranoid of outside help. If he can barely scrape by, there's no reason to WORK towards making things better.

Well I'll be darned, you learn something new every day. I never would've pegged Chris as the main money maker, I never would've thought that the tugboat would be nearly enough to sustain that household with all of the cost that comes with it.

Oh, right. Debt.
Well, they both have similar amounts of tugboat. Barb also might collect Bob's pension. But Barb has lots of debt.
I kind of wonder of Chris would start to be a little more open to someone for advice. Possibly looking to replace the mother figure in his life. There's a good chance he soils his pants and remains inactive but still he might change in some way.
He is. Chris is out talking to people and going to events and shit, and it doesn't show up on the internet. I mean, it's not a huge thing, but the moral of the story: Chris gets out, does things, and we never hear about them.
Real talk here, niggas, real talk:

Chris is definitely going to end up in someone's care. Group home, family friend, family (Unlikely. VERY VERY unlikely), or maybe even one of his Facebook friends will take pity on him and invite him to stay with them before trying to get him into a group home. As for his reaction, he'd call 911, but given his track record (Shoving sharp shards up his ass, macing people, and making bathroom coffee, to name a few), it's unlikely he'd call them first. And for sure, he'd make a Facebook post about how he's scared, cold, and alone in such a big, big house. Will Chris commit suicide? Maybe. We've never really seen him suicidal, nor at the brink, but then again he never really talked about being suicidal, so he could probably be keeping those feelings bottled up. I won't lie, this'll be a scary, yet interesting moment for Chris's life. It's territory we've only theorized about, going based only on what happened when Bob died. When Bob died, though, Chris had people to turn to, and Bard. But now? We're not entirely sure.
Chris is extremely solid. People on here have very little of Chris' life.

He's not that stubborn. If people hand him a list of numbers and say "here, they will help you", and if a Rocky-esque person will help him smooth over the joints, he'll be fine.

Once the old broad kicks the bucket, maybe Chris can get a few kegs and throw a Gay Social Club Rave at 14BLC.

I agree, but Chris is very very worried about what happens after Barb dies. He knows it'll be worse than when Bob did. He's reaching out and not just at impulse.

All I'm really saying is on some level he knows his life can't just revolve around barb forever (at least he's mildy aware )

I'm not sure if anyone has said this, but if Barb dies, Chris will be the only one who can answer the phone so I spam his voicemail with "JUUUUUULLAAAAAAAAYYYYYY" and I know he'll get it :)

Most likely Barb has already talked about it with one of her relatives and has a plan set up to take care of Chris. Barb's enabling and dumb lifestyle choices may be the cause of a good chunk of his bad habits, but I think she genuinely cares about Chris in a way that she doesn't want her little boy to ever grow up and instead of wanting Chris to become independent later in life when she dies, she will want someone to shelter him and protect him. Unfortunately anyone taking Chris into their life is the equivalent of trying to take care of a brain damaged middle aged horse with rabies that thinks its a bird. Chris is looking for a female to take the place of Barb, but unless literally everything in outer space aligns, it's not going to happen.

Regardless, after Barb's death Chris will continue his usual autistic government funded shenanigans and continue to unhinderedly live his unhealthy lifestyle and up dying of diabetes most likely around his late 50s to mid 60s.

But in all seriousness, before I was a shitposter, lawyer, marine and United States Senator I was actually a psychic and distant relative of Nostradamus who could actually foresee the future, and after meditating and going into spiritual slumber I have come up with the following visions that will definitely happen to Chris later in his life after Barb dies. These visions do not typically happen in any particular order so don't take these visions from a chronological perspective.

1. Chris will neglect his utility bills and his internet, cable, water, gas, electricity and phone will all be shut down. He will quickly work to get his electricity and internet back within a couple days however, while his water and gas will be neglected for several months. He will continue to make sure to download every single video game from the Playstation Store and Nintendo Eshop.

2. Chris will live in complete filth and soon every room in 14 Branchland Court will have various legos, dirty clothes, crapped briefs, toys, cockroaches, rats and miscellaneous Chris paraphernalia. There will be at least one pet that Chris will think ran away that will be dead and rotting under a mountain of clutter.

3. Chris will start another fire in his house caused through a tiny unimpressive spark spreading across the mountains of clutter throughout the house. Chris will blame the fire on the manufacturer that created the item he plugged in.

4. The Sonichumobile will break down and Chris will end up ordering pizza hut for delivery every single day for a month without tipping the driver and eventually the driver will refuse to go there anymore. Unable to sustain himself anymore, Chris will eventually search the internet and end up buying a 300 dollar clunker car. It will most likely be a blue 1997 Ford Windstar with the paint rusting, a large dent on the left side door, one single crack on the headlights, an aftermarket unpainted black hood, have no hubcaps, and have one windshield wiper that is chewed off for some unexplainable reason with beer cans, cigarette buds and 3 dry condoms and a dried puddle of vomit inside of the car. Also there might be a bullet hole on the side of the trunk for some reason.

5. Even though property taxes are ridiculously low in Virginia, Chris will neglect paying them which will cause county officials to come to his house. Upon seeing the condition of house and the deteriorating mental condition of Chris, the house will be condemned and Chris will be institutionalized.

6. Chris will start sexually harassing any women in Impulse that offes him any form of personal friendship that goes beyond simply saying hello and tolerating his presence. This will cause Chris to get banned from the club. He will attempt numerous times to sneak back into the club. After his 4th time trying to get back in, a bouncer who will be a large black man will forcefully and violently grab him and throw him out of the club. Chris will no longer attempt to sneak back in at this point. He will then go to his local McDonalds and post sonichu themed bulletins boycotting Impulse and saying the club is prejudiced against autistic lesbian trannys. At this point Chris will get banned from McDonalds which will make it official that he was banned from every business in Ruckersville, Virginia.

@CatParty Does that answer your question?

Barb's relatives hate her and seem to not be too fond of Chris either.

Chris falls into routines very easily. All he would need is a court appointed social worker to help him budget his finances and clean regularly and he'd start doing it on his own.

That's probably true, but from my experience even people with very bad family relations can change their feelings after somebody dies, and it's only because of that that I feel like there is at least someone in that family that would entertain Chris for a while before realizing that they need to dump Chris off somewhere with people who have a government obligation to take care of him. A few years ago Barb was urging Chris to try to get Cole Smithey back into their life, but more than likely Cole knew that with Barb being over 70 years old, patching things up with the Chandlers would make Chris his responsibility after Barb dies which is probably why Cole hasn't been heard from in years.

Yes, I think he will be just fine at that point, I am talking about the few short but probable years Chris will have when he is left to his own devices.

She also gets Chris to take retarded loans in his name.
@Marvin -- I'm not doubting you but how on earth does a guy with no assets, no job, no work history, no useful education, and a history of being on the government dole qualify for a loan? Even those title loan places require you to have a car that's been paid off.

Any bank that would give CWC an unsecured loan deserves whatever they have coming...

Well, they know he has a steady source of income, and I imagine they have means of getting the money direct from his social security if he defaults.

I disagree with this part. From the videos we have of Chris inside his house and the room in days past, his living area was the least cluttered and unsanitary part of the house. That's not saying much, but most of the real chaos is Barb's doing. Chris might actually react against that and clean the place up somewhat after Barb passes on. In any event, I don't think he'll make it worse.

No, he won't.

I could've swore multiple times in the house tour video he said he wanted to clean the place but Barb wouldn't let him. When she dies he'll probably clean it little by little, starting from the hallways into the different rooms, even Chris can't probably stand living in a place so cluttered and unhygienic, unless someones forcing him to. Especially if accommodating future galpals is part of the equation. Even despite his room having too much clutter, it was relatively organized. Chris, unlike Barbara, has limits.

...here's why I disagree somewhat - Chris will only organize when it comes to things like his toys and games. Material posessions. Past experiences will show that he doesn't make up his bed, tosses his clothes all over the floor and couch with carefree abandon, leaves his dishes to pile up in the sink, and hell, if he shits his bed he won't wash it.

If Barb dies, Chris will make just as much of an effort to clean his house as he does when he attempts a chin-up: He'll try, fail, let out a "Mmm", fart and then go back to...tipping drag queens with penises at the Gay Bar, if those videos somebody posted on to the CWCki are anything to go by.

Twist Ending: Chris has been dead for years, Barb, mad with grief after losing her son and husband, has been posing as him to grip with the consuming loneliness and isolation. "Christine" is just her attempt to slowly come to terms that she's not her son.

You are right, to an extent. But if a galpal were to yell at him and convince him otherwise then he may change his ways, if only temporarily. Now that I think about, no boyfriend free girl has even been inside 14 BC. Even Catie only went to the rental house. I'd be curious to see how he'd react to criticism about the cleanliness, at least if Barb wasn't around. He may even get rid of the most of the useless clutter (that isn't his) and replace it with video game/sonichu memorabilia.

It's not that Barb doesn't care about Chris, it's that she thinks only about the immediate future. See: taking out retarded loans in his name.

Nah, when Barb dies, Chris will immediately head into the arms of Rocky. Things will be fine. Even if Rocky's not around, it'd be hard for Chris to fuck things up that badly.

I think it was financing for a car. And Chris does have pretty good credit, I think. He's had loads of debt for years and consistently pays his minimums. Chris is a credit card company's wet dream.

This. Chris and Bob both hated the hoard, but they couldn't really do anything about it, lest Barb chimp out on them. Of course, cleaning up Barb's immense hoard after she dies would be a huge pain in the ass, so I don't know if Chris would get that far in cleaning it up. Maybe after the honeymoon phase after Barb's death he might gradually start getting rid of stuff. Like, he wouldn't rent a dumpster or anything, so he'd probably just throw stuff out in mcdonald's dumpster.
