Wasnt he freaking out on twitter for people to buy his shit around the time he was told something was up?

If not then, then he made it back when he raised the prices on his stupid photos (he did get money for bronycon and a repair for son-chu after that), he might not even have noticed he got it back
Yeah, he went from "they're going to take the house because of a big problem! Need money NOW!" to "what? Everything is fine. Bills are all paid. Quit bugging me about it." in a matter of days. I remember it being kinda funny how indignant he was about it.

I don't know whether he wheeled and dealed his way out, or one of his many fairy-god-faggots just cut him a check, but he bounced out of that catastrophe pretty quickly.

Crazy thought. And don't know how rigorous the situation is in the US, but is it possible for Chris to take out a life insurance policy on Barb? Obviously it would be a massive task to get it happening if even possible, but it might help him when the time comes.

Again, I don't know much about eligibility (Barb too old?) or costs (I assume Chris would have to make a monthly payment-Get him off the Funko madness and there is the monthly cost I bet).

I know nothing about life insurance, but if it is something that could be put in place, might want to scope it out as an option. Whether Chris would agree, understand or be willing to pay, well that is another question for another day. What you think @Marvin?

They probably wouldn't insure her because she has no earning power.

When Barb dies and the house goes poof and Chris is responsible for getting the crap out of it and find a place to live and people to keep him from being lonely, that six grand will be a drop in the ocean compared to his real problems.

His real problems all derive from Barb and her bullshit. That house is doomed. It would barely be viable even if he could clean her filthy piles of rotting barbage out of it, but with a massive mortgage? The real option is just to walk away and leave the banks holding the bag.

Barb would need to get her own life insurance policy and either have an employer matching payments on it or privately pay into it for X years. At her age, a life insurance policy paying out to Chris when she dies is about as likely as Chris getting video evidence of Cwcville's existence.

Oh please. We all know she'd borrow against any life insurance she'd have on herself to buy more q-sands and junk for the hoard, just like she did with Chris's.
If Chris gets video evidence of CWCville the forum will shit bricks harder than it did when he lost his virginity.

See the Chris board has changed a lot which has the effect of angering some "Christorians" because of how much it has. For example, back in the heydays, everyone would criticize Chris on every little aspect because back then Chris was just this autistic sonic fan with 2 weird parents who didn't have to care for anything, most problems he had were swept up by Bob or Barb, he didn't have to worry about housing, food, payments, all he had to worry about is what would Sonichu do the next in the comics. Yes the whole Girlfriend things and how gullible Chris is was hilarious and it was like waiting for the next part of your favorite book. But then more people began to want a slice of the pie and began to troll him even harder, this was all hilarious but there was 2 incidents that pretty much changed everything.

Bob's Death and the House Fire

When Bob died it was the first time people realized "Shit Chris is fucked if Barb dies" which isn't entirely true, yes he might lose his house (do to payments) but he will not be homeless, we got to see that Chris was actually human and cried for his father in the unreleased recordings, we got to see that Chris wanted to take care of his mother like his father did (in the most unorthodox way) but we realized Chris was still human even with all his "lol worthy" content.

When the house fire happened a lot of people put effort to give him and Barb a care package of things they might need, of course there were a lot of detractors saying that it was a mistake, that they were ruining the "Lulz" for everyone, but it wasn't about that, it was about 2 human beings that had lost their home to a fire, was it created by Chris? Maybe. But that's not the issue though some are still hung up on that. The fact that Chris now has to fear losing both his mother and the home he has lived in for years is actually something very human and something a lot of us will have to endure in our lifetime.

The worst thing is the people that still use Chris as some sort of medal like Anna does, they use old "accomplishments" in order to validate themselves without giving an ounce of help to Chris. Why? The answer is simple, as many have already figured it out, if Chris becomes a better person and has a higher "standing" then that virtue signal won't work, the "Oh look at this poor man I saved" will no longer be effective, thus it will pretty much make anything said ineligible. Sadly there are also people who have used the fact that Chris is gullible to extort him out of money and things as stated in other threads, yet when people try to help Chris out they will always come out as the bad guys because like before they are "ruining the lulz"

This could be seen in the Bronycon thread over at /mlp/ and here. People were shitting on the fact Chris was having fun and people were protecting him from others who just wanted to use him for a laugh, as I said in that thread we all know Barb doesn't have much, maybe a year to 4 but she will inevitable die, which is why I enjoy seeing Chris being able to spend time having fun and being carefree.

Will he be hit by reality once she dies? Yes. Will he be homeless, a wreck, kill himself, etc? No. The people that care for Chris as a person and will help him, the people who don't will continue to try to make fun of him. However Chris won't be alone at that time, however hopefully he won't be alone with people like Ana who will use the tragedy as a way to make themselves feel better and have others look at them better.

Lol no, Chris is going to be pretty thoroughly fucked till Sunday when Barb dies.

Chris doesn't choose real options, or he would have sold his car already instead of getting it fixed. He would be willing to lose out on assets if it meant being allowed to stick to the familiar. In the case of the house he may be too scared to move out even if it's cheaper.

Chris's problems aren't financial. He is disabled and unable to take care of himself. His parents didn't prepare him for any kind of independence. When the shit hits the fan with Chris, you'll see the internet white knights shrugging their shoulders and saying there's nothing they can do. Hopefully someone in Chris's real life will step in and help.

Subconscious Offense, you are absolutely right. He is autistic. He doesn't take change well. He thinks he can keep sailing on like this forever. That fantasy is going to come crashing down hard.

If he survives it, he'll be better off afterwards. He may sink into some similar rut but at least it will be one of his own choosing. Everything in his life up until now has been the choice of his insane mother or trolls.

How do you think he's likely to survive?

On his tard bucks. Which will pretty likely never go away. The majority of people living on the planet get a fraction of what he's entitled to for the rest of his life, and lots of them are even dumber than he is.

Chris is gullible to the extreme. He's delusional. One minute out in the real world and his tugboat will be gone. This is what happens to crazy people on the streets alone. It's easy to think that a regular check will guarantee a secure lifestyle, but throw mental illness into that mix and no amount of money will fix it.

Can you imagine Chris going out to rent an apartment and signing a lease? Do you see him being able to move out of Branchland into a one room apartment by himself? Do you see him not pissing off the neighbors with noise/smells/sperging and not eventually being evicted? Do you see him not causing scenes like at the game stores any more? Do you see people on the internet leaving Chris alone and not exploiting him or harassing him any more? Do you see Chris knowing how to change the way he lives in a positive way and being able to implement his plan? Is Chris getting better?

The world isn't kind when you are mentally ill and have no family or close friends looking after you.

I've known people who were schizophrenics who screamed angry gibberish for hours at a time at people who weren't there who managed to live in apartments.

I've known ones that did that who ended up on the street committing suicide a day at a time until they succeeded. Chris's problem is that Barb and Bob gave him absolutely no life skills for dealing with change or making plans and carrying them out. He lives by means of magical thinking and momentum that Bob left him. That momentum is almost gone. He's left with just the magical thinking.

Chris is different than most lolcows here. Chris has been fooled, manipulated, exploited, humiliated and robbed by people he didn't even know over the internet. That is a very high level of vulnerability. When he is on his own with no family or local friends, he will have a target painted on his back and without someone there with him in real life looking out for him, he won't last. I hope you're right and he'll sail right through this. But after following him for the better part of a decade and seeing what happens to people like him when they're unmoored on their own, I'm not as optimistic.

chris will do fine, the only reason he's "more vulnerable than most lolcows here" is because he's the most well known

After Bob died he learned from Bob's binders and crap how to deal with the bills and he's been doing fine with that (Barb's bullshit aside).
As long as he's got someone to show him the ropes on whatever the hell he needs to do he'll do fine.

You can't be serious. They've pissed away everything Bob built for them. He's facing losing the house and living a life without anyone to really care about him. He's sold some crap and some people took the money away from him by exploiting his mental illness. This is a pattern here and it isn't getting better.

Barb did most of that, starting with blowing all of Bob's money on Rob Bell, largely because she was on the hook for her own felonies in the Snyder case. When it was just Chris, she let a public defender do it. Most of the money was blown on her hoard of worthless garbage.
