The renovations after the fire were reportedly very thorough. I don't know how they happened upon that $177k number, but I think the house is probably reasonably worth the value of the land, plus whatever a lightly lived-in house would add to it.
The hoard was all boxed/bagged up after the fire. The main animal waste issue is the dogs. Outdoor cats go outside most of the time. Unless they're not fixed, then they'll spray. Intact cat piss is rank.I'm wondering what the damage of cat piss and dog poo would be. Cat pee smells and is so hard to get out. Also is the hoard trash or just stuff? Like does Chris take the trash out?
Chris's basically acting like a teenager now.. Seeking independence, being constantly snippy to people, hell, you can see him blowing up on Kengle and get reminded of that time you saw a teenager get embarrassed of his own parents lol.I think nowadays he'd want to experience life. He's wanting Cole to take over, he's enjoying traveling to other places a little.
Too late though.

I'm fairly positive that's illegal in most cities, suburban areas and municipalities.Heh, back when Bob was alive, they used to burn their trash.

Not in Virginia, at least if you don't have trash collection services. I don't know about Ruckersville but it's kind of hick land. They probably do have collection services there, but it could easily have been legal when Bob did it. There was also one time when Chris threw a fit and called the cops because a neighbor was burning trash, and they told him to buzz off.
Ruckersville is in a separate county (Greene) from the one Charlottesville is in (Albemarle). so it might be a different case for that town. It doesn't surprise me burning trash is still a thing in sparse parts of the country. Can confirm this as true. As someone who used to live in a very rural redneck area, we had to burn some of our trash from time to time as regular trash collection services were tenuous at best (we grew up in a very poor rural county). The trash that we couldn't burn or have picked up by the county, we usually had to haul it ourselves down to throw away in a public dump.
Nearly all of the trash we burned was paper trash and old cardboard, stuff like that. Actual dangerous trash was to be hauled off to the dump or put at the end of the driveway for the county to pick up. I don't know if Bob did the same thing when he burned trash, though.
I don't know how remote Ruckersville is, but given that it's fairly close to a major town like Charlottesville, I'd imagine that the county or town would have regular trash pickup services, but I could be wrong.
He's not keeping the house when she dies. Null says she apparently has so much debt that the banks will almost certainly repossess it to pay off creditors. What will happen to Chris once his mother dies? How is he going to pay the bills and the house if he has no job?
When Barbara dies, it is likely that people like @Null and a bunch of people who knows Chris; might pitch in and help out Chris to try to stabilize his life.
That's not all he's doing though. Pretty sure he's also helping to manage Chris' twitter and allowing Chris to use him for free shit if "The Talk" is any indication. I remember reading in the Operation Kingsnake thread that he's going to be helping him out with his estate when Barb dies as well, so I'm pretty sure this goes a lot deeper than helping him out with emails a few minutes a day.lol Poor Null offers to sift through a few emails
No, think about the twitter thing as a second instance of filtering emails. He's filtering Chris' twitter messages in the same way. That's not all he's doing though.
