No, Chris is a legal adult. He cannot become a ward of the state. Likewise, he cannot be forced into a group home against his will. He'll probably become a ward of the state, because we know Cole will want fuck all to do with Chris, and Bob's kids are step-siblings, so I doubt the state would put forth the effort to track them down (especially Suzanne, since she's made herself very scarce).
Putting Chris in a group home would be the next logical step, especially since the state or whoever would need to liquidate whatever's at 14BC to pay off the outstanding debts that will no doubt be left when the bitch finally croaks. I doubt Chris would last long in one, though, since there'd be huge personality clashes and Chris will no doubt dislike the rules and curfews put into place that will invariably be part and parcel. He'll also probably be forced to get a job as well... I don't think whatever program he's a part of would allow him to be a layabout playing PS4 and/or shitting himself and doing nothing all day. Upside is they'd probably humor him with the transgender stuff, but all the sex toys, etc. would probably have to go.
Either way, Chris' way of life as he knows it would be fucked pretty hard.
It is a worry about 14BC, I had assumed before that Bob would have paid off the morgage and Chris would be left it but I underestimated Barb's selfishness. He'll probably become a ward of the state, because we know Cole will want fuck all to do with Chris, and Bob's kids are step-siblings, so I doubt the state would put forth the effort to track them down (especially Suzanne, since she's made herself very scarce).

To add as well, Chris probably can't even see 12 hours into the future of what his day will be like
Chris is a huge faggot. He probably wont realize Barb is dead right away, but when he does he'll go into an autistic frenzy, call 911, make dozens of facebook posts calling for help from his fake friends (and of course Anna will surprisingly be nowhere to be found), cry like a little bitch, blame Snyder, blame Megan, blame the farms, blame Cole, blame etsy, blame the Greene County, blame Walsh, blame Joshua Martinez, and then post a YouTube video begging for donations, possibly with Barb's corpse right next to him.Probably been discussed already, but what are the possibilities of Chris simply not reporting his mother's death in order to keep the social security checks coming?
Judges declared him a mentally competent adult during both of his adventures with the law, if memory serves me.this is true, unless the courts declare him mentally incompetent.
Is it possible for him to ever be reassesed and legal taken into governemnt custody, or is that something that is only reserved to (somehow) even more exceptional people. No, Chris is a legal adult. Getting someone declared mentally incompetent is incredibly hard. Chris is a dumbass, but nothing suggests he can't consent to things or understand the implications of a contract. Is it possible for him to ever be reassesed and legal taken into governemnt custody, or is that something that is only reserved to (somehow) even more exceptional people.
When people die they void their bowels, so Barb will be shitting herself and doing nothing for a very long time.Shit himself and do nothing.

The only way for Chris to be institutionalized is that he has to commit a crime, and no not the trespassings or vandalisms. It has to be so heinous and psychotic. But Chris is incapable nor willing to do those so it will never happen. This ain't Psycho. Well not completely.
Although he did not do too much damage to Snyder with his car, if he continues to do stuff like vandalism, shoplifting, and other things, the city he lives in could petition to put him in a nuthouse. The only way for Chris to be institutionalized is that he has to commit a crime, and no not the trespassings or vandalisms. Not in America. That really doesn't happen here.Although he did not do too much damage to Snyder with his car, if he continues to do stuff like vandalism, shoplifting, and other things, the city he lives in could petition to put him in a nuthouse.
