Chris certainly isn't afraid to wear donated goods and hold up signs begging for de ladies.
And nowadays it's food, money and other provisions.

In one of the Kacey calls, Barb came in and talked to Chris, and Chris for some reason kept the line open. Granted there wasn't video, but she seemed to have a lot of the same issues you mention. She has been a batshit crazy old lady for a while, and Bob's death seemed to be a real blow. She seemed to cling to Chris more, Chris didn't have Bob to share the Barb wrangling duties with, and Chris was probably a lot worse at it anyway. But I am not convinced that there has been an additional downward turn. But she is 75. That is certainly not young. From what we've seen of her in that recent e-begging video, she may not be mentally capable of doing anything. I am not a mental health professional but the unfocused eyes, the slurred, barely coherent speech and creepy staring makes me wonder if she did not have a stroke that impaired her cognitive faculties. Or maybe dementia is setting in. Whatever it is, I think it is safe to say Barbara's mental abilities have declined drastically.
It's ironic, since the same can be said about Chris. From what we've seen of her in that recent e-begging video, she may not be mentally capable of doing anything. He wont be able to live on his own. What will happen is Chris will be forced to move into a group like home. This is where a caretaker is there 24/7 and it makes them feel like they are living on their own but they are not. The caretaker cooks and cleans and pays their bills with their disability check. If they dont do that then basically like you said a social worker will take over the bills and pay them for him and give him whats left of his check. In my opinion he will live on his own for maybe a few months to a year and then the state will finally put him in a group home.Btw once he's in a group home , he will have a pretty decent chunk left because the bills are split, so he can buy all the video games and legos he wants. He just has to deal with living among jerk males!I grew up in a small town that had a couple "characters" that had fairly severe mental health issues but lived on their own. This leads me to believe that technically Chris could care for himself over the long term. But I think there are a few roadblocks to this outcome.
1.) Housing, if he's not destined to stay where he is now he will need someone to find a place his tugboat can pull. Maybe a social worker or as others have said a church member can do this.
2.) His predilection to law breaking. One or (maybe) two simple missteps are all it would take for things to snowball out control for Chris and if past behavior is any guide it's likely his next crime won't be as simple as trespassing.
3.) Money. He won't be able to manage his money. Hopefully some sort of automated bank transfer can be set up for him by a social worker to pay for housing if need be. Otherwise he will be homeless and likely end up in jail in short order. Luckily for Chris food stamps can't buy toys so as long as someone helps him get his stamps he won't starve.
His entire world hangs on someone setting everything up for him. If that can be done there is hope, others far worse off have gotten by year after year. If that doesn't happen he will be in and out of jail and homeless shelters for the rest of his life.
I have a feeling the chat message is just a trolly thing, but if something really did happen to Barb then hopefully she's okay.
He will die horribly and then he will burn in Hell for all eternity.
"Blessed are the poor in spirit"
No hell for Chris.
I really don't get why people think he can be forced into a care facility.Chris can't be forced into anything. He's a legal adult.
Satan would reject Chris. There's no point in making him suffer if he's already doing it to himself.

There are two facts that are plainly obvious to anyone who looks: 1) multiple criminal trials have seen the courts treat Chris as a competent adult, and 2) a large chunk of homeless people in the United States have some kind of mental health issue. Do the math.
83 pages of wondering what would happen when God finally plays the big Poke Flute in the sky.
....seriously?
I wouldn't suggest putting him in a home, but I would definitely suggest someone managing his money. I think if he had someone just managing his accounts or withholding some sort of money and using it for necessities (much like how Bob dude it), he'd be better off than if he were in a home.I really don't get why people think he can be forced into a care facility.

That could all be caused by something simple like an infection. Hygiene declines with age and old ladies get UTIs. With old people, you may only see symptoms that mimic dementia because their immune systems can't fight the infection.I am not a mental health professional but the unfocused eyes, the slurred, barely coherent speech and creepy staring makes me wonder if she did not have a stroke that impaired her cognitive faculties. Life expectancy for an American female at 75 is about 13 years. Her health is questionable though. She may not hit the average.Barb turns 75 this year. Despite the hoard and squalor, the living conditions at 14BC are not third world.
Civil commitment laws are broken, but options do exist for disabled adults. Chris would likely need some type of assistance to care for himself, his home, and his finances. This isn't necessarily the loony bin. Chris could have people come in to help him shower, make his meals, pay his bills, and rub his tits with oestrogel. A high functioning autistic like Chris can live amongst normals if he gets a teensy bit of help. There are two facts that are plainly obvious to anyone who looks: 1) multiple criminal trials have seen the courts treat Chris as a competent adult, and 2) a large chunk of homeless people in the United States have some kind of mental health issue.
