There is no fucking way that a hopeless tard like Chris will be able to manage his finances on his own indefinitely. Despite all his dreams of a multi-media franchise beloved by children everywhere, Sonichu is and was always solely about Chris. He made those comics because he wanted to, because it made him happy and let him express the twisted world inside his head. He never really made them for anybody else, even if he maintained the delusion that other people wanted to see it.

I think part of what changed is that the comics got trolled, while he got more into lego. Eventually Sonichu went from comic to legos. It was safer for trolls, and once he made the Sonichu figurines, he could enact their adventures in legoland easier than in comic format. Thus, lego helped him to be even lazier and protected him from trolls at the same time.

To be honest I see the comics more of a way of him trying to understand and process the world around him, it's like in that video recently where he was using two toys to try and make sense of a situation that was beyond his understanding like a kid who heard there parents arguing an can't work out why mummy an daddy are fighting.
