He gives a shit for the wrong reasons. We all know Chris is mentally a child with the real world crashing down. First his dad, now his mom, AND he's out of his own home and local area AND he's all alone.
Except Chris is a 40yr old who did this to himself and denying the responsibility and mentally of growing up. Sure it'd be hellish for a 10 yr old to go through all of the above I mentioned, but I'm all out of fucks to give and the fuck dispenser is sold out for Chris.
What I do want to see is how he's going to cope. It's going to be a wild ride, or not who knows.

Chris isn't exactly known for having the best willpower, so it would be easy for people to get him hooked on anything. The Teen Troon Squad did introduce Chris to weed, and amazingly, he didn't get addicted to it. The harder drugs on the other hand...
The bizarre thing is even without taking drugs, Chris, somewhat looks like an addict (the hair, the sunken eyes, his completion), but that's because the motherfucker hasn't been taking care of himself in the last couple of decades.
With the way he coped with Bob's death, with Barb, it's not going to be pretty. At first, Chris 'predicted' that Barb was going to turn into Barbchu. Now, he'll turn Barb into the next MLW.

Chris has been saying that the merge has already been happening for almost four years now (how time flies), and that there're already cartoon character milling about in our world. He probably wants Barb to die at this point so that her sonichu form can visit him.

I've suspected for years that Chris's Doc put him on a prescription of xanax, he constantly complains about stress and he acts very weird with his mood swings and complacency. It gives me the impression he's been on a benzo for a while now.
I really think Chris will welcome Barb's death, the law says he can't fuck her anymore so now she's just the "redneck" keeping him from his toys/house, this will not be at all how it was when Bob died.

Chris poaching the money from Barb in itself removed any lingering doubt that he ultimately just considers her a useful tool. TBH when that became known it made me more upset than even the incest - at least with that there's some twisted mentally-fucked-up apologist way to argue that it shows Chris (inappropriately) cares about her. But immediately following it up with material theft completely undercuts that best-case possibility.

Agree. But Chris is sucking even in Lego - he knows shit about it (both history and technics), he just isn't able even to buy Lego in normal way (by bricklink or pick a brick on Lego site), he just sucks in lego.
Look at old picks of CVCshithole from Lego: just a bunch of proposed builds fron official sets and shitty infomaniac tower, because he didn't get the Xtreme Tower set.

Hes smoked weed a handful of times with the Teen Troon Squad, he didn't have a dealer or anything - he chose Booze when he wanted to get fucked up.
But you are very much right people shouldnt give drugs to people like Chris, it opens the door to more problems or amplifys those that already exist - KingCobraJFS is a perfect example of that.

I don't think the theft is when he truly showed how little he cares/cared about Barb because it would just be what he and Barb did. It never really seemed to me like Barb's money and Chris' money were ever consider separate by the two. He didn't have the money for a hotel, so he did what he would always do and use Barb's cash instead. He only showed his true feelings for Barb recently when he complained about her staying in 14bc and wanting her to croak so he can take the house.

Chris clearly has more emotional stock in his mother thanks to the Buster Bluth complex he's got going on. I think it's going to accelerate the ongoing collapse of his mental state. Bob he was mostly able to recover from. Barb's death won't be like that, especially given how his circumstances have changed since 2011.

Honestly if Barb dies i hope Chris is in prison and stays there. IMO there is a good chance that event will be so traumatic that we get the 'Chris's hooker skin suit' saga. He might even dig her up for *gird yourselves* 'round 2'. Ugh now I feel dirty.

When Barb dies and Chris isn't behind bars, but he's still far away from her, it won't be pretty. Barb is Chris' last tether to reality (well maybe not anymore since Chris basically wants her dead so he can have the house all to himself). To be honest, I don't know what to think. On one hand, she dies and Chris doesn't care; on the other, she dies and Chris cares via e-begging and drawing her in her sonichu form.

The fact that Chris will never live in 14 BC (or will live in it at most a couple months before being dragged out screaming and chimping out in Hedgehog Defensive Posture) is one of the few good things to come out of this. He won't learn anything from ending up homeless (even if that likely won't last long) but at least he'll suffer.
