Unfortunately, Chris has never learned of the concept of sacrifice; Chris wants everything with little to none to give back. From what I hear section 8 has a waiting list so Chris should have signed up for it a few years ago. I assume Chris would get a caseworker, but at the same time, I think Chris would use that caseworker like his own personal slave, like Barb does to him.
I could easily see that being the case. Government-subsidized programs here in the states are in shambles. The case worker could prolly be treated that way as well. Personally, given what I've observed, I think when Barb dies, it's best that he gets a conservatorship on him. Like one commentor said, the state courts would prolly take one look at Chris and deem him absolutely fucking NUTS. Given that he spends all of the money he still has from Barb taking a cut of it on Legos, troon stuff, ponies and numerous other trinkets, and is basically financially irresponsible as everloving FUCK, I think its best if someone else handles his finances. (I apologize for any rambling.)

You're not wrong. I mean during the Snyder case, Barb (and Chris') lawyer, Rob Bell put it on record that Chris is an "adult autistic child". Any attorney could easily get that to prove their case that Chris is mentally unfit, among many other examples. Barb's debts will never be paid; Chris has his own to personally deal with, and even with that, all we know is that the amount is high.

Chris won't like that someone else, the conservator, will be using his money to pay those debts, but that's the reality: Chris hates it, but it's part of being an adult. He should have never applied to credit he wasn't going to pay back in the first place. The sad part is that he can resolve his debt with the combined money he gets via tugboat/etsy, but chooses not to because Chris is an immature idiot.

If it gets bad enough he'll just declare bankruptcy. He might not even bother or think about it though since most of his money is tard bucks that can't be seized anyway. His other income is online shit spread out over a bunch of accounts, probably the debt collection equivalent of walking around picking up pennies in terms of being worth bothering.

If Barb dies. Chris is really gonna need to face the great responsibility of paying bills and taxes which he might be able to manage if it weren't for his poor spending behavior. Top it off with the stress to losing your loved one though she didn't help him very much at teaching him the responsibilities of living as a grown adult. As well as being in debt.

Chris already had to learn this shit after Bob died. He used Bob's notes left behind as a reference point, and is generally good with keeping up with his bills up. Any time he begs for money that he "needs" is because either
A) Barb forced him to because she wanted q-sand/thrift store money
B) He spent his tugboat on bills and got pissmad he had none left over for legos or toys
C) He screwed over his dumbass buyers by spending their money on toys (see B) and didn't have enough left over to actually ship out what they bought
D) He gets shaken down by trolls over bullshit (and he KNOWS it's total bullshit, but because it indulges his fantasy, he goes with it anyway, so it's still his fault)

I forgot Chris was in his early 30s when Bob died, and it had to be at this point where Chris had to learn about finances. Not surprising, but still embarrassing since Bob did most of the work paying bills while Chris was playing with toys and being occupied by trolls. The worst/ironic part is all the money Bob work so hard to save was spent by his asshole of a wife with money Chris could've used.

Let's be honest though: If Chris never had that altercation with Snyder, Barb, like her son, would have spent Bob's inheritance via some BS anyway.

If Chris gets any cash after Barb dies, it will probably be significantly more money than he's ever seen before. Obviously, I see why people think he'll waste it all quickly, but in the past he's wasted much smaller amounts on McDonalds and Legos which you can only spend so much on. That doesn't mean that he'll suddenly become financially responsible, but it does make me curious about exactly how he'll waste the money. He'll have a much wider array of choices in front of him than ever before.

Chris will revert back to his Stephanie Bustcakes persona. This time with anal. There might be a new "Surreal Life: Internet Celebrity Edition" where Chris gets paid to participate. He will piss in the corner like Verne Troyer.
I hope it's a cast full of cows. O wanna see Chris get drunk and hit on dudes since he's bisetual only to get BTFO. It could be on only fans and hosted by a crazy cat lady.

Even if Barb had no control how the money is spent, Chris has been described in the past as a person who believes that money left unspent is money wasted (which is why he spends it as soon as it hits his account).

He'd let himself get fleeced by a car salesman and pay even more than sticker price.
As soon as trolls find out, just two words: magic beans.
Or "moon laser", again

Since this thread hasnt had a new reply in a motherfucking 2 WEEKS-

Well THAT'S gonna be troubling.

Well maybe the thread appeared dead for two weeks because Barb is, finally?

She did last appear almost two months ago. Though in all seriousness, that would very likely throw the Everfree con idea right out the window, alongside null's assistance plan.
Christ. as another farmer said in this thread, Barb's death would probably be the top headline and have the only spot on Happenings, so-

We'll just have to wait and see. We already got an address and where to contact in the case of a Welfare check. I wouldn't be surprised if she died yesterday and we didn't find out for over a year until Chris accidentally showed her putrifying body in the hoard.

I only come here these days to see if she's still alive.
Yeah. Given how long Bob lasted in the game, Barb is unlikely to be different due to the sheer fact that women are statistically proven to live longer lives than their penile-bearing counterparts. But then again, she seems frail as fuck and prolly munched on a fucktonna mcdonalds so I won't be surprised.

Chris probably thinks this, but given his lifestyle and habits, he might join Bob sooner than Barb.
