I don't know what care homes are like in the US, but in the UK they're pretty adept at sizing up just what assets a resident has. If she's reverse mortgaged the house, that will be an issue.

It is a regular mortgage according to Marvin. It was simply taken out after the first one had been paid off so that she could get cash on hand. Then you pay the bank monthly like you did the first time around.
 
I don't think Chris will ever be "sleeping on the streets" homeless, the DHT theory which seems most realistic is Chris will be adopted by a whean, some tard who thinks its gonna be fun like adopting a puppy or worse yet, someone who thinks they can "change" Chris. 2 months later after Chris has destroyed the apt and emptied the fridge and brought home stray animals he found at on his way to papa johns, the tard who took him in will tell Chris to GTFO and he'll move on to the next whean. My second best guess is Chris gets taken in by another "sockness" or "Idea guy" willing to play pretend about magichan and the merge and Chris is either financially taken advantage of or sexually taken advantage of or both. Which would be kinda sad but Null did what he could to stop things like that from happening and I think Null's heart was in the right place but naive about how much Chris refuses to accept reality/responsibility.

Damn. That is highly likely. Chris becoming someone's personal jester/"pet" is getting closer. Enabler's can do their best to shield Chris from trolls, but damned if they're going to wait on Chris' everyday.

There’s no sustainability there. Honestly, take a look at the average Chris we.en. They’re hardly in any position to take Chris in. Sickness lived in some adult tard dorm, I’m sure they don’t let those idiots bring home strays. The average Chris whitknight is on the spectrum and living with their parents. Or, has a family situation like that hobbit chick. I think it’s highly unlikely to find a magic combination of somebody that lives in reasonable distance to Chris that has the means to put him up for any amount of time. A person that would want to keep a pet Chris is hardly the type of person to have made the right life choices to have a spare bedroom fo him.
 
Doesn't the CWCki's article on "Chris and health" say that if he continues his current lifestyle, he won't survive long into his 40s?

Well there was certain KF user that was recently revealed to have sent $1200 to Chris IIRC, so I wouldn't underestimate the power of the enablers, white knights or anyone verging on that category of person. Without them, I'd imagine Null would have had a lot more success reaching Chris on planning his life after 14BC no longer becomes his home. IIRC Null even tried to setup something of a "retirement plan" for chris starting an LLC, a site hosting his art to create income that could be funneled to Chris to supplement his tugboat while not exceeding income that would cause his tugboat to be cut-off, it was pretty clever but, Null didn't have the power to get Chris to recognize the necessity of it all because people keep sending him money for nothing and he can't see the impending living situation crisis that is going to happen when barb dies so he just pisses his life and money away on video games. I might have some details wrong in the post above if I'm missing something someone please correct me but, this was all part of the plan in place when Barb dies. Really similar to when Kacey spent hours coaching chris on job interviews and filling out applications, she even researched how a supplimental job wouldn't harm his SSDI. She put in a lot of effort and Chris gave it one interview at target and then decided he was done trying to get a job. Chris just wears out people out who are trying to help him to the point where they give up.

That's the problem with Chris, isn't it? It's hard to get him to understand the necessity of a solution to a future problem because of people who enable him. There are numerous solutions that could prevent him from being out on his ass the moment Barb has merged with her C-197 self. However, all of these require legwork on Chris's part. And that he not fritter his money away on useless garbage.

Chris came up with 6 grand to hand off to other autists. When you don’t have adult bills and adult aspirations, it’s all just colored paper to them.

I don’t remember her full handle, hobbit something, she briefly whiteknighted for Chris earnestly and didn’t seem to have an ulterior motive beyond trying to be his internet mother. She fucked off when Chris chose his magical playmates over good advice.

I'm surprised nothing's happened to him now. He's relying of magic crystals to cure his ailments. Then again, he's using an electronic device (if he knows how to use it correctly) to monitor his heartrate. Other than that, it's business as usual.
 
Is the Chandler house all paid for? If not, there will be a Foreclosure Saga where Chris blames the trolls for making him lose his house that he isn't making payments on. If so, there will be a Condemned Property Saga where he is forced out of his house due to unacceptable living conditions. I predict him living out of a van and/or couch surfing at some point, all broadcast on social media. Maybe even a Road Trip Saga.
 
I'm not very familiar with the social security and disability programs, but I'm pretty sure Chris would be able to get some sort of free/affordable housing. Probably some shitty apartment or something, but he's probably qualified for it. Only real issue there is that Chris would need to be responsible for five seconds and actually look into that, which he would rather gorge his eyeballs out before even considering.

I genuinely think Chris is going to be happy sleeping on park benches, because benches are not going to ask him to come back down to reality to be concerned with his own well being for even just one day. He's just so unbelievably far gone, an alcoholic has more willpower and control to not drink than Chris does to not daydream and delude himself.

Chris' motivations are odd. He doesn't bother to plan ahead of immanent eviction, yet he was willing to go cross country to find a girl who didn't exist.

I'm not sure where you live. In the USA, NOTHING is free, and affordable places (read: ghetto section eight) have multi year wait lists. We don't really have anything that could be considered a safety net these days. Joe and Jane Average are two paychecks away from the street. Chris is headed for disaster. Edit because the numeral eight produced a chris face with sunglasses.

It's kinda baffling to read about how people are spending time and effort into actually trying to help this guy out, only for him to just ignore and waste it. I honestly can't feel sorry for any bad situation he ends up in. Then again, the type of people who would actually take advantage of these opportunities to improve themselves probably wouldn't be lolcows to begin with.
