I still say Barb outlives Chris, she just has that haughty old southern battleaxe immortality. She will live to 100. Chris is obese, been on cholesterol meds since his 20's, subsists on a fast food diet, no exercise, STRESS, autism (shorter average life span), and who knows what he has been putting into his body for his True and Honest Lesbian Transgender Female Soul transition. Don't pick out Barbara Anne's casket just yet. Hell Chris could roll the ol' Caravan off a highway overpass tomorrow while arguing with Magi-Chan or something since he is so nuts now.

"Magi-Chan, NOOOOO!"

Magi-Chan take the wheel!

My god I just realised Chris will be having to plan the funeral basically alone.

The image of him in a near empty graveyard, the coffin of his last truly caring family member and friend going into the ground, like, holy fuck.

That's gonna destroy him.

Does anyone have a thread where I can read about the history of Barb? I'm new to the CWC part of the site.
Check the CWCki, you can find most information on Chris and other major players in the story on there.

I think Chris might just dismiss it as "she is now part of the Dimension Merge and is just becoming part of my creation so she's living still."

We know better than to expect him to accept the fact that his mother is slowly but surely nearing death's door.

Agreed. The dimensional merge is the coping mechanism to meld reality and fiction once and for all in his head, and won't have to face anything

Imagine him trying to plan a funeral -- but with Sonichu themed everything. You know Sonichu is getting drawn on that casket. Then they'll (him and... damn, who would go to the funeral?? They're pretty ostracized from their own extended family) release some balloons and go back to 14BC. That's depressing af.

At this point she's probably delirious enough to not recognize Chris when he gets inside, and being dressed as a pony/pokemon/cpu goddess manchild isn't going to help.
In barb's perspective: Someone opens the door and I see a silhouette of a large 1-horned devil with wings. It's probably my time to depart and leave my mistakes behind, especially that abomination

I know this might sound exceptional, but do we know if Barb has a will? Presumably, she'll leave everything to Chris, but is there a small pocket of cash she might have left that Chris could snatch his greasy mitts on?

It’d be pretty funny if she dies trying to revenge throw out Chris’s junk only to slip on a poorly painted S-Ball left on the stairs, falling and breaking her neck.

ive always wondered what would happen after barb finally kicks the dust.

I guess being placed in a group home is a possibility.

thats what i thought, but then again, i think theyd have to fight him tooth and nail to get him to interact with others in need of a group home as much as him. i think hed rather waste away, but then again, ive been surprised by chris before.
doubt he would take the initiative to take care of himself, though.
