No, it could not. I have said this before; Amber is not like other superfatties who linger in their beds for years. These fatties linger because Western medical science is unbelievably advanced and can prevent the dozens of deaths they would elsewise have died during their tenure as a bedbound deathfat.

These fatties live so long because they seek medical treatment for their various ailments. Amber does not. She has type 2 diabetes and does not treat it; this alone can cripple and/or kill you, and it is not the only major disorder body that huge will cause. She does not even admit to having medical disorders: not to herself, and in turn not to us. She only "admits" to a fictional BED diagnosis which she will use to externalise blame for not losing weight.
So, Amber is not going to see 40, not at this rate.

They also found maggots in her leg folds at one point. :islamic: She was an asshole in general, aside from also blatantly refusing to do anything Dr. Now asked of her. Second only to Steven Assanti in terms of worst 600 lb lifers, in my opinion.

It's people like her that make me :optimistic: in thinking that big AL will be kicking it at least until her mid to late forties, maybe even fifties. She'll have virtually no quality of life and will be bedbound for most of what she's got left, but the human body is a remarkable thing sometimes.
