The whole concept of fact checking in politics is an automatic gay and biased. Like its ilk, Snopes will take leftist lunacy and will credit it as true as long as a single part of it is somewhat true, while right wing talking point are treated as wrong even if they are 99.9% factual.

Fact checking in general is the living proof that the people are getting lazier at research.
Back in the day, people were given multiple points of view about certain events, and then those same people spent their time trying to come up with their own conclusion based in personal experiences and biases.
Nowadays, there's no such thing.
People are very guillible and believe everything they see without researching.
Hell, most browsers have a "search image to google" function, and people refuse to use it.

The best fact checking agency is your own brain. You don't need someone else to think for you, that's lazy and makes us ignorant at the end of the day.

It was great when it first started and it was just some husband and wife couple doing MythBusters like stuff and researching crazy accidents and urban legends.

Now its just some faceless arm of the propaganda machine. I doubt the original couple who made it even work on it anymore.

They were faggots then, and they're faggots now. There are write ups about them out there. They split up and the husband got a newer model last time I checked on them, so the wife isn't involved any more. It's basically one guy saying "trust me dude".
