Geckos are very cool.

I like Komodo dragons because they're called dragons, they're huge af, and they have venom that prevents blood clotting and causes their prey to bleed out.

Tegu. They're basically dogs in a reptile's body. If they didn't have such special needs, I would have one as a pet and a guard lizard.

Bearded Dragons are cool, looking like tiny Game Of Thrones style dragons.

When I was a kid I had a green anole. My dad used to be an inspector for the state and he would inspect amusement rides. He was looking over these rides that belonged to a traveling carnival that just came out of Florida. He saw the lizard and somehow managed to get it before it escaped. He stuck in a box and brought it home. We put in an aquarium and I kept it for a few days. But my mom bitched about it so we took it to a local pet shop. This was back in the 90's. They took it and it was probably for the best because we couldn't take care of it. But it was great getting to see it. It wouldn't survive here in my state because we get winter. It's not Florida. Though for 5-6 months of the year you might think it is.

I love Gila monsters, they're one of the most beautiful animals to me. I want to pick one up and cuddle it but I also don't want to have to go to the hospital.
