just start him on the original show and let him watch through that. Naruto Shippuden is the sequel. Altogether there's like 700 episodes between the two so he'll be busy awhile. the third series Boruto is about Naruto's kid but I didn't care to watch that so I have no idea how long it is but your kid if he likes the series will probably go from there.

The first arc of the original Naruto series is unironically god-tier. I really wish it kept that same tone throughout the show, but alas, it was not meant to be.
Shippuden is meh, but the Akatsuki are good antagonists and make it worthwhile in my opinion. A good stopping point is after the Pain arc finishes.
Boruto is cancer. Literal fanfiction is better.

how old is your kid? I'm sure we could probably come up with a good list of anime for em to watch that's not too cringe inducing for you to have to sit through some of, and not degenerate enough to turn them into a faggot, furry or pedophile.
