Define doubleposting
I could not care less if the same user posts twice in a row if they are posting relevant content, although I barely pay attention to who is posting what so I'm curious what others think. It's annoying when someone replies to multiple people individually, I consider that obnoxious double(or more) posting.

Generally speaking, if the consecutive response is in regards to the same exact topic, and they didn't make an effort to condense in a single post.

There is a degree of subjectivity though, which is why staff gets handsomely paid to manage, by applying their best judgement.

once you put three posts in a post no one is reading or reacting. If there's rules about double posting then users should be forced to fully review and react appropriately to the triple/quad or higher posts as if they were single posts otherwise the requirement becomes prejudicial.

Rarely is someone making two high quality posts back to back. Usually a double post is retarded garbage that is breaking other rules anyway. Mods here are cool though and will just merge any half decent doubleposts and not yell at you.

I do doubleposting, when I want to add something that could be controversial or not so agreeable in relation to the older post, but I had already received some reactions. Sometimes the mod merges those for me.
But doubleposting of things that aren't relevant or interesting speaks of chaotic and ADHD childish mindset and its inability to give it some time and find the edit option (it's right down there!). It's more about what's in the posts really, than the fact there is two of them.
