Exactly. I tried writing a play based on Chris, but it just didn't make narrative sense. "So this is, what, the sixth non-existent girlfriend? Wouldn't he have learned by now?" "So hold on, he's a massive homophobe, and suddenly he's claiming to be a... lesbian?"
The whole liquid saga could play out like a Greek/Shakespearean tragedy (and when I say tragedy, I mean comedy.)

That's why you'd have to narrow the focus. Y'know, like what they did with Lincoln.

A play about Chris would be a decent idea though. Well, at least better than a documentary. It could make economic use of space, a necessity for plays, by having it all set in Chris' room. Would make for an awesome set design opportunity too. And the POV of the PSEye could be the audience, so the actor playing Chris-Chan would be screaming directly at the audience, another plus for acting in stage productions.

Hmm, yeah, this gives me some ideas...

A play about Chris driven mad by the denial of his past, with Sonichu being the voice of folly, and Mary Lee being the voice of his conscience.
Of course Mary Lee should be depicted with horns and a sexy, revealing dress.
I dunno why, but a Grishkin-esque Mary Lee Walsh comes to my mind.

Whoever creates that play will be the new LOLcow of the ages, as they are clearly much, much more autistic than Chris.

I thought, in order to give it relevance beyond this board, it would have to be written as an examination of the lolcow phenomenon - the idea that there are these utterly bizarre people who, thanks to the Internet, can get the kind of exposure and dedicated following that most celebrity wannabes can only dream of. And at the same time, you could look at the mindset of the trolls and the amount of work they put into trolling, and indeed, people like us who are spergy enough to follow it all. At the Royal Court in London at the moment there's a play called 'Teh Internet is Serious Business' which looks like it covers a lot of the same ground, so yeah, should have acted a bit faster on that one really.

I think adding too much exposition about the lolcow phenomenon would detract from its surrealist aesthetic. Chris should just be unfiltered bellowing out at the audience his death threats and smugly gloating about his copyright, with his Lego crap all over the background.

What if Chris were a Shakespearean actor?
He's pretty close to it.
