It's the same kind of fascination that people have for Ed Wood movies, Henry Darger's writing or William McGonagall poetry. It's utterly bizarre and fascinating, but at the same time it's something with a fairly limited appeal. Basically, what I'm getting at is that Chris has a cult following - a small but devoted community who got together because they wanted to discuss this strange man and couldn't elsewhere. It's like The Room, but more autistic.
Are you implying William mcgonagall was a bad poet

What if Hurricane Irma stayed a hurricane long enough to reach Ruckersville and 14 Branchland Court?

What if we could all hang with Chris in the year 2000 time warp?

It would be a very depressing moment where we would tell Chris that he is doomed to become a genetic dead end because of his parents failing to mold him into a responsible adult, which means he will never be gainfully employed, he will never be able to support himself, and he will never find a sweetheart.

And Chris would just say: "Well, I, uh still git ta play wit ma legos and transformers tho right?"
