This isn't a widely known fact, but if you open up a history book and check for events around the mid 1900s you'll find there was a bit of a pickle, a small little snafu that occurred right around that time period that had an impact on how things are run.

Seriously though, the globohomo stuff with european countries is cruel, and as gay as a lot of europeans are they don't deserve to be humiliated like this. As an American I'd save them from the homosexuals if I were able. It's just not right.

There just is something with the Germans and fascism. The discourse and objective changed, but ultimately, it's the same thing.

Germans have this urge to impose on others drastic laws "with their own good in mind".

With everything they touch, they will seek a way to control, monitor and regulate behaviors and act like saints about it.

I am surprised, because I have met great people from Germany. But it's like their critical thinking stops at considering reasonable boundaries on what the government and associations can do to you.

Denazification is the correct answer. That practically hammered out and stomped down even the smallest bit of fighting spirit any german had left and it carried over well into the present day. You guys can't imagine how pozzed the average german is by now, it's a fucking tragedy.

What do you mean what happened? They wanted all of Europe under control of a centralized non-democratic ethnically-allocated bureaucracy backed by a deployment of the globe's most dominant military force deep within Soviet territory and now it is. They just changed PR tactics a little.

The Nazis lost and shits been downhill ever since. Not just in Germany but the rest of Europe as well.

At least the Germans didn't get subjected to the Morgenthau plan. Which would have been 100x worse. The Treaty of Versailles was bad enough. Being punished for a war they didn't even start. Then everything that happened after WW1 and between WW2. The defeat in WW2 and having their country basically taken over by 4 different groups of people from 4 different countries. Nearly half of the country under Soviet control and turned into Communist authoritarian hellhole experiment. Think Nazis but take away all the good stuff about the Nazis and replace it with commie stuff. That's basically East Germany. Everything about the National Volks Army was based on the old WW2 Wehrmacht. Just the Soviets took away the Swastikas and Stahlhelms. They even kept a lot of the old German military traditions. Then they replaced all the nice snappy sounding traditional German military music with a bunch of cheap commie music pretending to be German.

All of Germany got a shit deal over the decades. But East Germany got the worst. At least West Germany didn't end up under Soviet control.
