I wear the most obnoxious Christmas sweater that is as opposite as possible from my regular clothes. People don't recognize me until they get a better look at my face after being distracted by how horrifyingly colorful and out of character this fucking thing is. It's exactly the kind of garment I'd burn in a heartbeat if I didn't appreciate it's polar opposition for the sake of the ugly Christmas sweater tradition. If you think that's an overreaction to a festive sweater, you just don't know about the outdated pop culture reference on it. It's magnificently awful.
