Any idea if this is going to find it's way to the west? I'd love to play it.

Hopefully end of this year or next year. Sega did a survey regarding the interest in Yakuza Kiwami 2, Hokuto ga Gotoku and Yakuza Online. Not sure what the results were but a majority were in favour of Kiwami 2.
