What do you do when you feel fear?

When you feel fear, do you go against it or do you avoid it? I mean, when you feel fear when someone is about to rob you, obviously you either run away or gun the fucker down. Question is what about fear for say deciding to spend money on college when that money could be used to move out of a bad place and situation, or thinking the thread your about to make is stupid, just as how one would feel fear publishing their book because one thinks it’s a stupid idea and it’ll just get negative reviews.

What's do you do when you feel fear? What's the normal reaction against it?
