Give her something unique enough to where she'll know she's being called out to in a public space, but not so unique that employers won't hire her.

All of these fake single-mom names are sending society on a greater downturn. I think it's important for a name it have some semblance of history to it. Braidleigh, Nevaeh, etc. are only, and will only, be relevant to this time period.

So, I'd recommend something classic (and feminine) or an anglo'ed version of a foreign name. My real name is kind of the latter and people love it.
