I know I'm kind of a lightweight, but honestly I can't drink pure corn syrup unless it's cut with a few drops of water.

The stereotype is more true than not, just look at the average waistline. Arizona's easier to notice with because they're not carbonated.

It's arguably more noticeable with baked desserts: I can almost always tell if it's a European making it or an unmodified Euro recipe because the result isn't as sweet as American tastes are used to.

I only buy the iced teas that have no sugar. As in no sweetener at all. If I made iced tea I never add sugar. There really is way too much in the pre-bottled sweetened teas. Some of the sugar amounts are insane.

agreed. arizona "tea" is awful, and even the pure leaf brewed sweet tea is too much.
i'll drink unsweetened brewed tea all day though!

Cocktails where you can't tell there's any alcohol in them until you're too far gone. The absolute worst, and they're mostly a woman's drink too. No wonder they get blackout drunk so easy.

Hey cool bug facts, did you know that subway changed the category of what type of food their sub bread was to cookies to evade Irish taxes. It actually had enough sugar to classify as that. This was advertised as health food when I was a kid.

Oh yeah all their ads had that guy (who turned out to be a pedo) and how he lost so much weight eating subway.

He probably didn't get a footlong meatball marina on Italian hearbs and cheese with cheddar cheese toasted and pickles lettuce garlic aioli spicy mayo sub sauce salt pepper and Parmesan cheese.
