I've been playing a lot of Deus Ex recently. I also just bought Human Revolution. And I'm still playing through Saints Row 2, GTA San Andreas, GTA4, Skyrim... Actually, I'm still playing through most of the games in my library.

Played some GTA: San Andreas on Steam. Also played some Scribblenauts Unlimited earlier.

One of my favourite games ever. Not much combat but it is an amazing storyline.

Right now I'm playing GTA V and Tales of Xillia. I'm also replaying Dead Island Riptide.
 
I got in the mood for an FPS recently, and I played some Call of Duty 4 last night. And I really didn't have that much fun with it.

But I won a free copy of "The Maw" from McDonald's as a part of their Xbox holiday promotion, and I played that last night . . . and I had a huge amount of fun.
 
Played some Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas today. I managed to reach San Fierro but I decided to uninstall the game to make some room. Wanted to try Starbound but the game gets stuck on loading after showing the logo of the team making it.
 
Kinda interested in games notable for negative reception, so I'll play some "Extreme Paintbrawl". :ween:
 
In the Sims 3 I'm playing a household where the guy is a mix of Victor Frankenstein and Josef Fritzl. Because I'm a weird fuck.
 
Just started a new campaign on Medieval 2. Zeh Reich shall be victorious mein Kaiser!

Wooo just did a massed charge of over 200 Teutonic Knights and broke a massive French army almost all at once.

I was deeply in debt fighting a war on 5 fronts. So I sacked Paris. If the English Allies don't get their asses moving I will be moving on to sack their cities once I'm done with France.

I have also killed the King of Hungary, who declared war on me thinking I was an easy target.

I have also killed the King of Denmark, who thought I was an easy target.

I burned everything Milan owned. They promised revenge but they have to start over.

I took over the Byzantines when they thought me an easy target.

Now I'm working on France, and I just sacked Paris. I chose Paris because I knew they would defend it to the death. They did indeed all defend the city to their deaths. Then I looted and burned it.

I spent 20 turns without being able to replenish even a single unit, and I still came out on top.

Right now I'm playing the Darkness on the PS3

I played it through twice on the 360, and really enjoyed it. Actually when I sold my 360 it, and the game Saints Row were the two games I missed the most. When I bought my PS3 it was one of the first games I got for it.

The Darkness simply put is just a masterpiece. The story is told like a play. The loading screens feature the main character in a black void monologue to himself bathed in a single spotlight, like he's talking to an audience. The soundtrack is all this really good tragic composition pieces (intermixed with heavy metal). It tells a romance story and a tragic one at that. It has a 5 act structure with a massive climax at the end, one that felt like the end of an Opera almost. The gameplay is a first person shooter where the main character's special powers are fueled by being away from light sources. Which requires you to shoot out lights and it provides this really engaging dynamic to combat.

The game's also features hub based progression, although the missions are for the most part linear. It's a great game in general and one that comes highly recommended from me. Playing it through for the third time just makes me enjoy it that much more.

To put it simply it's one of those games that I bought a system over.
 
Currently playing through Fire Emblem: Awakening on Normal/Classic.

Fun game so far. It's my first Fire Emblem, so I'm sort of a noobie at it at the moment. If I enjoy it enough, perhaps I'll play through it again on Hard.
 
I went from Corpse Party -Rebuilt- to playing a fan sequel and a demo for the fan sequel's sequel.

I don't often play fan games (due to several of the fans using the sources in their headcanons rather than the actual canon so things tend to get very inaccurate and characters turn into angsty wrecks when they normally wouldn't be...), but these were actually pretty good, I thought. The person who made them really did their homework for both canons. References everywhere and good ol' fashioned character development. Both of the endings in the fan sequel, Corpse Party D2: Depths of Despair, were so... tearjerky.

Maybe it's partly because of my own issues with death, or because I simply cry too easily at a truly heartwarming/tearjerking sacrifice. None of that "forced" crap. It wasn't beating me over the head with CRY NOW CRY NOW ARE YOU SAD YET. Hate those; I don't like stories where they feel like they have to force it out of you.

I might play those again after I recover from the endings a bit, but for now I'm gonna go back to playing Fallout 3.
