My friends and I co-oped the entirety of 4, and we all just got 5.

Question is, do I stick with AR like I was before or should I go WD or maybe F.

Not ranger though, ranger sucks.

Good news in 5 is that you unlock weapons and armor for all the characters now. It will still give preference to the current character but it does make it viable to swap characters if you want to. AR also has easier to use strafing runs that he doesn't use smoke grenades to call in. Instead the cameras zooms out overhead and clearly shows where bombers are going to hit. He can also equip 3 airstrikes/gear/weapons now in addition to a vehicle.

Octane is fun for an EA microtransactions character. I suck at him but he's cool to play.

Well, sadly there were two holds stacked up at the library, so I had to return Dragon Quest XI. To assuage my sorrow, I hooked up my PS2 on my main setup and fired up my copy of Dragon Quest VIII, since I never finished it. I’m kind of amazed how good it looks for it’s age, and they seem to have designed it to look best in widescreen.

One thing that surprised me is, despite loving how the orchestral music sounds in the Heroes games, I prefer the MIDI in XI to the orchestral soundtrack in VIII.

Giving Alundra 2 a go. The ancestors of whoever decided to try to pass this off as Alundra have definitely turned their backs in shame. Bad graphics, terrible camera and point of view, and lacks all the amazing puzzles the original had. I mean, the game doesn't suck, but it's hugely disappointing to play this after having beaten the fantastic original game.

You don't need to worry too much. He starts off pretty tame and functions a bit like Mr Shakedown in being easy to avoid if you want but by the end of he game he could be anywhere and ambush you from any direction.

I've finally found time to download Episode 3 of the The Fate of Atlantis DLC for Assassin's Creed Odyssey. So far it is absolutely gorgeous and has exceeded my expectations.

Dead Cells and A Robot Named Fight.

Dead cells is way more fast-paced and fluid, A Robot Named Fight is like a weird robots vs lovecraftian flesh god reskin of Super Metroid but randomized each time. They're both great if you like rogue-like metroidvanias.
 
The Witcher III - going through Blood and Wine currently on Death March. It certainly is keeping me on my toes, seeing as I never played through this DLC before.
 
Portal Knights for when I want to build stuff and Dark Souls for when I want to punish myself. Fuck the sewers in that game along with those curse frogs with a shipping container full of rakes.
