Playing the Hardtype Hack for SMT Nocturne.

It certainly lives up to the name so far. Fucking Specter was a huge pain in the ass this time around. Matador wasn’t too much harder, but it was still very close.

Not looking forward to the Thor fights. Or Dante.

Final Fantasy VII on the Playstation. Disc 1

I finished up Midgar and I'm now exploring the world map. So far I made it to Kalm and got to see Cloud explain how Sephiroth became a sack of shit. I'm now fucking around on the map grinding for Ethers to sell and get everyone up to a proper level. Everything was fine until I encountered a big ass cobra that's WAY too powerful right now.

I'd figure that would be a good drop off point for now. I'll pick back up tomorrow.

Ark
Single player, Scorched Earth, Full default settings, no mods
Everything keeps dying over and over, I love/hate this game so much.
I just want some rexes so I can get some combat supremacy so I can start venturing further and further away. At the moment I keep training shitty raptors and wolves and whatever I can find and they keep getting slaughtered when I venture out. Then to kill some deathworms, then to train some mantis I guess.

Usually play Single player, the center with mods and jacked up settings. Or online official PvP servers on the center.

Majora's Mask on N64 and Sims 4. Right now I am on a mod spree there are so many nice things its like shopping its going to be a bitch to compress all of it though. 😒

Vanilla WoW on the Northdale private server hosted by Lightbringer. It's completely free to play and is pretty well maintained. It also has the largest amount of players on a WoW server I have ever seen (>5k). Unfortunately, it is likely that Blizzard will try to shut the server down when Classic releases on 8/27 this year, but I think the server owners are Russian so they might just tell acti-blizz to eat shit and keep it open.

Quake 1.5

I've always treasured Doom and can find an excuse to go thru Knee-Deep In The Dead. But Quake I always just respected, it's a solid fundamental game but it feels a tad bit quaint. The arrogantly named Quake 1.5 changes that and makes Quake's Single Player feel far more like a modern FPS. The new gore added just makes the combat feel far more satisfying and just straight up crazy.

Some will see it and think "Brutal Doom for Quake" and it's not an unfair remark, and while Brutal Doom was great I kinda thought the excessive gore and modernized weapons somewhat clashed with the old visuals of Doom which were often cute and funny. Quake 1.5 to me feels like a much needed kick of modern FPS hyper violence and just looks phenomenal. Quake 1.5's visual flourishes just add to the atmosphere and make a damn fun time.

Void Bastards.
I picked up this game with no expectations and despite being a roguelike grindfest it's actually damn fun.
Yesterday i beated the game on Tough Bastard and Ironman mode

Finally upgraded my internet enough to be able to support PS Now without constant connectivity fuckiness and the first game I decided to fire up is Seasons After Fall.

I'm 50% through the story and wow, what a magical little fantasy adventure. Beautiful graphics and overall style and atmosphere, and most importantly an amazing soundtrack. Super relaxing to play despite the puzzles being kind of annoying sometimes. It's really pulled me into its world tho.

If its the Midgar Zolom you aren't meant to defeat it at this point, you should check out the tracks on the ground nearby and buy some specific items in the area.

I managed to do just that!

Turned out there's a Chocobo Farm east of the place, so I did the thing and after trial and error, I got past that part without any problems!

Oh, and after some serious grinding, I finally got Yuffie!

Far Cry 5. Got it on sale the other day. it's alright so far. not as good as Far Cry 3 was but it's not terrible.

Yeah i picked it up on sale too, kept trying to get into it and couldn't, but lately I can't stop playing it. It seems like the game doesn't really pick up until you start unlocking a few perks and take down a few outposts for some breathing room. I'm enjoying it on the whole even with some of the weird physics.

I'm playing champions of norrath: return to arms
i learned of an exploit, which i need since the game is stupid hard even on easy

YGOPro. In speaking of which, does any one know a good YGOpro game? I'm trying to play Darkfluid, but Dawn of a New Era won't update with it

Shit. I tried to whittle my current games down to just one, ended up balancing a multitude of them. Here we go:

Persona 5 - Just finished the first Palace and most of the tutorial, I guess...after 13 hours. They told me this game would be long. They weren't lying.
Saints Row The Third (Switch version) - I've seen a lot of reviewers divided about this port. I've been playing it exclusively in Portable Mode, and aside from a couple graphic glitches, I haven't had any problems. Pure evil and mayhem on my favorite hybrid console.
Spider-Man (PS4) - I just removed the shrink wrap and started it last night. So basically it's Arkham City, with a much bigger playground, starring less of a stoic hardass? Good deal.
EarthBound - There is too much to say about EarthBound. It is too good. It has only gotten better with age.

Off and on:

WarCraft 2 - Fuuuck I'm 14 again.
