Thinking of starting up Nioh again, and maybe VTM Bloodlines. Anyone have mod reccs to take off some of the jank? Does it have steamworks?

Playing Gex 2 via a PSX emulator.

For some reason I've always found Dana Gould's voice very soothing and relaxing. Helps that I played this game a lot as a little kid.

Kingdom Come Deliverance, with all the DLC and suchlike.

The latest one, A Woman's Lot, has a whole segment where you're Theresa which is quite fun but can be annoying (one main line quest in it is finding 10 marigold plants in the fucking dark while there's Cumans roaming around and you have next to zero weapons skills - oh, and if the Cumans find and kill your brother, which can happen without warning, it's an immediate game over) as well as a whole new questline about Johanka (the nurse at the Sasau monastery) and her nightmares. It also fleshes out Theresa's conversation if you court her and so forth so it doesn't come to an abrupt end after you bang her in the barn, which is always welcome because that really was a bit stumpy, that bit was.

It also gives you a doggo, who can have various uses such as sniffing out things and in hunting.

Already a Squid.jpg

.....Giving me access to the Miiverse was a mistake.

Now playing Ys VIII Lacrimosa of Dana. Pretty fun exploration, and the battle is as fast as ever since Ys Seven. Didn't expect the tower defense-like section, but it's quite fun.

Interestingly, I got the vibe of The Lost World in this game, with the characters stranded on a mysterious island inhabited by reptilian creatures called primordials (basically dinosaurs). The chapter I'm in right now even titled "The Lost World."

Finally managed to advance at Xenoblade 2. Apparently one of the Blades I used makes the enemy hurt themselves every time they attack. Pretty cool! I also got KOS-MOS while trying to get useful Blades, on the first try. Is she really as great as they say?

I started Red Dead 2 today. It’s pretty good. I’m playing it mostly in first-person since I enjoy looking at the old timey guns more than I enjoy looking at Arthur’s back.

Holy hell though, that opening chapter in the mountain was so boring. Between this and GTAV, Rockstar needs to quit with the excessively long opening sequences.

The game does pick up after the intro, but keep in mind that it's an altogether slower experience than the original.

That's not necessarily a bad thing, as it allows for you to get more immersed in the world and the characters.

The Outer Wilds, it apart of Xbox's Game Pass. Interesting game, I knew nothing about it other than it's Epic exclusive on PC. I enjoy it but landing your spacecraft it a bit difficult and
(I'm not even sure if this is a spoiler) the game resetting in the middle of you doing something is annoying, though suppose I could goof off less

Still playing Smash Ultimate and replaying Saints Row 1 and 2 for the upteenth time.

Got back into DotA 2 after a 6 month break. The battle pass lured me back into it. Anyone who wants to play some dotes with me, feel free to send me a PM.

Outer Wilds is pretty fun. Lots of neat mechanics such as how the different planets change over time. I wish the spaceship controls weren't so clunky but then again your spaceship is basically a couple of 2x4s strapped together anyways so it works

Paper Mario 64(re-doing my LP of it and doing a runthrough)
Super Mario Odyssey(still need to finish)
also exploring Voodoo Vince for next year

I'm jumping between Monster Hunter World and Lobotomy Corporation.
I've already done everything except for the event monsters in MHW so I've been catching up on the Arch Tempered ones that are on rotation. People seem to have no problem with AT Kulve but goddamn everyone is garbage when it comes to Behemoth.
Lobotomy Corp is pretty neat and I really like the style they went with. Since each day is ranked I tend to just end up retrying to not let people die and I'm sure thats making it a lot less fun. Those S ranks though.

I really want to pick up PersonaQ2 but I'll probably hold off for a bit. Really hope the game can get broken with the right characters like the first.
