Just finished up both Bayonetta 1 and 2 in reverse order. (As I played the first a few years back). Now, I just got the Devil May Cry HD collection and going through 1.

Pretty fun so far. Having to deal with fixed camera angles is kinda tough to get used to at first, but I'll manage.

Also, to those who played the DMC games, should I just skip 2 and go to 3? I heard some less than great things about the second game to put it mildly.

Well if you have it, might as well play it. I'd agree that 2 was pretty bad while DmC 3 was imo the pinnacle of the entire series, but it's still worth a playthrough if you already own it.

I'm dabbling in a few different games atm, but as you can see from my name and profile pic I've been been playing a lot of Fallout.

Decided to play some Armored Core: Verdict Day. For once, I actually managed to beat another player online. I then went to Dragons Dogma and did a few quest.

Minecraft Pocket Edition on my iPad.

I know, sad for a grown woman but I'm bored. Currently unemployed. Have a couple job offers for Jan. That's part of settling into a community. Lots of frantic searching and then waiting around.

No wonder lol cows get loopy. They don't fucking work and play vidya. How can they stand it? I feel guilty playing games all day :(

Just beaten the original Devil May Cry and immediately jumped into 3.

First game was quite good. Story was kinda eh, but for a game that came out well over ten years ago, it played pretty smoothly for the most part. I didn't really care for the yellow orb mechanic, especially considering how tough some of these bosses are. But the levels are so short that I guess it isn't a huge deal.

Going into 3, it just feels better than 1 in nearly every way. Combat has improved, Dante is more likeable, bosses are more fun, and the yellow orb mechanic has been dropped, so I can just keep trying and trying on a boss I'm stuck on without worrying about having to do the level over.

There was one moment where I defeated these two guys that had their heads on their swords only for the game to crash when I tried go to the weapon screen. So I had to do the level all over. Ah well, at least that fight was pretty fun and satisfying to win.

I've been playing through Quake 1's Quoth mod.

It's a really fantastic mod that redesigns the game to be a lot... better. Like there's at least a dozen new enemies, the maps are far more detailed and feature significantly more content and the game in general feels far more balanced and exciting. It also enables far more advanced maps to be played.

I've been play the Deer God and it's pretty fantastic. It's still in the works, with things being added and tweaks, and there are a few, tiny bugs, but it's still enjoyable and beautiful.

Ultima 5 (PC Version). Had to start a new file because it's been so long since I last played it that I had no idea what the hell I was supposed to be doing and started anew (don't worry, was only a few hours in). Even with all these fast-paced and linear games I've been playing recently, I've got the patience of a saint when it comes to running around the world and trying to figure out what to do.

Might and Magic: Secret of the Inner Sanctum. I have yet to make it out of the first town. :c

It's recommended to print out the maual to Ultima 5 and frequently read it, then the game makes a lot more sense. This was back in the days when developers expected players to read the manual in order to learn how to play the game ahead of time.

I wouldn't say Ultima 5 is the best Ultima game to start with. Ultima 7 is a lot easier to get into, and is widely considered the best in the series. I'm inclined to agree and it's the one I'd suggest trying out before 5.

I'm going back and forth between Saints Row IV and Starbound. I'm liking SRIV a lot more than I thought I would.

I've been trying to get better at Spyro the Dragon 3, of all things. It's a very good game.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is downloading right now. I'm so fucking excited.

Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. I used to think flying polyp was a silly name for a creature until I got to that part of the game.

Almost beat the main story of Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix from the recent HD remix. I'm doing some extra stuff before facing the final boss.
