Thanks to @Haramburger I've been doing nothing but cultist simulator these last few days. Very interesting game. I like the fact that even a 'bad' ending can be tied into the narrative for the next playthrough. I've been bumbling my ways to the mansus several times but have no idea to progress from there.
Checking back in, here was my board state just before getting my first real victory:

This shit was intense. I lost two lovers in trying to postpone my ascension through the Tricuspid Gate via my evolution in sensation; it was clear that no mortal may pass the final gate, so I attempted to bring the first woman through as a risen corpse(based on the steam icons), but her shattered form was woefully fragile, and she did not last my efforts to assemble the final tools for the rite. The second woman lay inert as a corpse, but my thirst overtook me... despite the living prisoner awaiting the inevitable, I feasted upon her corpse instead of living flesh in my delirious state, flush with cravings. Our love did not last. Finally ready to enact my plans, I found difficulty in seducing my remaining females, which left me with one option; I took Saliba into my many asses deeply. Seducing him was simple; killing him was not. Time and again he was sent on a suicide mission to the Evening Isles, and time and again did he return, incapacitated but not dead, new wounds opening and closing as the Season of Sickness sought my health to assail instead of his. Over and over I paid for his medical needs, and despite his many scars his alignments and power rose near endlessly. He should be dead, several times over, but still in his weakened state did he plunge his throbbing blade betwixt my moist holes, passion burning steadily as embers. Clearly, I had chosen well. When the time came, he would earned twice-over the journey I would be taking him upon. Never did he doubt, or waver, devoted to the very end. And the end did cum.

For nearly 6 hours did I persevere, delegating the elaborate tasks leading up to my godhood; sweet Renira my first love, leading many foolish lambs to our larder. A deluge of painting in secret, a "promotional event" from a hidden location to explain away the notoriety I was under to both my adoring public & the inspectors building a case against me. The dwindling of coin and food. But finally did the stars align! Saliba fell, beautifully, and rose again twice as gloriously. The peeling of the Bell, the fluttering of moth's wings, and the silent gasps of success. My hunger sated, my second risen, the Rite Intercalate prepared and done. Despite her resentment to my distractions, she never left. She willingly gave of herself, of blood and bone reciting the Devouring Mysteries to begin the Feast of the True Birth...

The secret histories are unclear on what actually happened, and the past is not firm, for now I see myself from the eyes of another. An apostle who lifted me up. Or did I do it to myself, or another? We shall explore this future, on another tomorrow. Tonight I rest, and revel in my satisfaction well-earned.

RE2Make. About to wrap up Leon B and finish with a Leon A/Claire B run. Hunk too, perhaps, if that unlocks.

Still working on Red Dead Redemption 2. I just started chapter 5 and was quite surprised to
end up on a Cuban island

MGSV I didn't realize that during the sniper battle with Quiet if you manage to sneak up on her and she detects you she can knife you.

Devil May Cry 1 for the first time in the lead up to DMCVs release. The beginning is offputting and the last levels are awful, but everything between the first Phantom fight and the first underwater sequence is 11/10 brilliant game design. Now I'll soon get the luxury of playing DMC2 and experiencing the hearty shit stain of the franchise first hand.

A mix of Assassin's Creed Odyssey and The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker for me. Some fun shit right here.

I've been jumping around alot lately on the games I'm playing.
Recently: Monster Hunter World, For Honor, Xenoblade Chronicles X, and Switchblade.

Ace Combat 7 until Sekiro comes out next month.

-Have every jet now except for the
X-02 wyvern
-Need to finish getting all the aces
-S ranking all of hard and ace
-Grinding multiplayer just for the Ace Combat 5 and Zero squad emblems
-Still some tedious badges left

Faceless Soldiers has got to be one of my hardest S ranks in the series. That mission made me appreciate the Rafale with its crazy long distance burst missiles for sniping targets. The apaches can suck a big fat cock though. So many attempts ruined because of them.

Astroneer was recently released after +1 year in early access.

They changed how you unlock new schematics several times, and now it's basically what the whole game circulates around. Research/per minute and getting enough power to keep it going. Or so I thought until I went onto the harder planets, and found basically 10 mins of researching one big object in small nodes you just hold F on to research instantly.

There's 5-6 planets, each with several gateways on the surface and a gateway in the core. You need to power the gates with a certain amount of power per second for 12-15 seconds to unlock them, which is required before you can dig to the core. In the core you transform a specific material per planet into a key, and use that key to unlock the core as a teleport gateway.

You need all these core keys to open the last big alien tech gate to win. So it's basically a collectathon, but man is it hard to keep motivated in. It's about exploration and progress, not building, which is the core at most survival games. Bases aren't glamorous, so other than winning, I don't really see the goal in the game?

You can unlock skins, so I guess the drive is to get the interstellar late-game skins and flex on your friends, but other than that, eh.

Glad my review was somewhat inspiring, and I wish there was more content on the horizon, I love the worldbuilding this game does. I think I'll give the company's other games Sunless Sea and Sunless Skies a try next.

Oh you definitely should. I've been playing Fallen London for years, loved Sunless Seas, and backed Sunless Skies so you'll run into the ship and location I named if you do play. I've yet to be disappointed by anything Failbetter or associates have released and if you're into mysteries within mysteries within enigmas that seem like they're normal on the surface you'll love Seas & Skies.

I'm playing Wargroove, and even though it's made by those Chucklefish bastards it's pretty neat.

Getting S-rank on some of the missions can be a bit of a tight squeeze though.

Nabbed Warhammer 40k: Inquisitor: Martyr: Subtitle in a PSN sale, a janky Diablo clone.

It's the worst game I've ever enjoyed. Runs like shit and the systems are clumsy, but it's a lot of fun with the silliness of 40k and a giant flamethrower.

A nice contrast to Flame in the Flood.

I'm playing the Advance Wars series (GBA/DS) I might move on to Wargroove afterwards.

I wonder... would it be possible to mod wargroove into AW with some sprite and stat changes?

Finally started playing FFXIV this weekend after telling my cousin for years that I would. Mostly got tired of playing Runescape just to listen to Dutchies prattle on about random stuff like "wat een kut weer vgm" or "ik at wat stroopwafels". So now I'm training a Lalafell PGL. I may branch out to NIN and MCH later on. I have yet to earn my Fat Chocobo mount...

Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus. Turn-based, single player strategy where you play my favorite faction, the Tech Priests of Mars, as they descend upon a Necron Hive World. As your Tech Priests level up throughout the campaign, they take on so many cybernetic appendages it turns into a Cronenburg film. I love it.

Donut County. Been playing nothing but shooters and action games, I needed something different. It's a charming game.

Being a mobile fag currently.
Playing Granblue fantasy, Langrisser,Senran Kagura, SMT Dx2 and IdolM@aster Starlight stage with my gf.
