Played some Blood today. Only thing I can say about it is that aside from the dark atmosphere it has, the enemies can be deadlier than the ones in both Shadow Warrior and Duke Nukem 3D.

Rollercoaster Tycoon. The original with the 2 x-packs.

When I was 8, I'd max out my loan, build the craziest shit ever, then get pissed when no one rode it. Now I'm 21, and actually understand why you can't have crazy shit that would break spines. And its so fucking easy to play now.

I've decided to start playing Civ4 again.
Worst decision ever. Now I'm glued to my computer in a time abyss.

Right now I'm playing Amazing Spider-Man 2. Perceptions:

Kraven the Hunter has hunted down all the half-human cross species from the last ASM game, killed them, stuffed them, and put them on display. This does not seem to bother Spider-Man.

Cletus Kassidy is operating on the same modus operandi as the Punisher. Spider-Man will happily team up with the Punisher in the comic book, but Cletus Kassidy bothers him in ASM2.

Manhattan is apparently a crime-ridden hellhole where blonde women are carjacked, kidnapped, and held hostage on every street corner. This does not seem to apply to burnettes or red heads, only blondes.

The Kingpin looks like a fat penis.

The fire rescue missions are more problem than they're worth.

The city periodically decides to hate Spider-Man, usually right after he finishes a story mission. Spider-Man must then run around like a leotarded boy scout and do good deeds until the city likes him again. This includes rescuing blonde women from carjackings and fires, or aribitrarily beating up gunmen who are just kind of sitting around. For all we know, Spider-Man could be taking down legal militias.

"Hey, Bob, good day to demonstrate our Second Amendment Rights. I'm glad that we have the legal right to do so and . . ."
"Hey, what's that?"
POW KICK POW KICK

At one point during a carjacking, the animation for Spider-Man sticking the carjacker into a giant web didn't trigger, so instead I had this wonderful scene of Spider-Man violently chucking a villain along asphalt and probably shearing his face off. That's a little out of character.

Another time, I got Spider-Man stuck in a ventilation duct, giving me a never-ending animation of Spider-Man gyrating his ass.

So, 75/100. It's a C game.

Ultimate General Gettysburg. Playing as the Confederacy, I've ended the first scenario (Morning July 1) with the Confederacy in control of both Oak Ridge and Oak Hill, but the Union bastards managed to keep hold of Seminary Ridge which overlooks Gettysburg Proper. Hopefully later in the day we can dislodge them and take the town, for ol' Dixieland. Yeehaw!

Dungeon Crawl.

You wouldn't think a sentient house cat would make a good berserker, but you'd be wrong. The only downside is that the god of berserk rage hates magic.

EDIT: Raging housecat versus eight headed hydra. Housecat wins in two shots.

Last thing I really played was Master of Orion 2. Psilons are my favorite people to play as. The Sakkra (lizard people) breed way to fast, so it's really easy for them to be voted the leaders of the galaxy (read: tiny star cluster), as the votes are based on population.

Also, if another nation wins the election for leader of the galaxy, all the other nations become part of the winning nation. If you refuse to accept the winning nation as the leader, you "defy the New Republic," and the rest of the galaxy turns against you.

Still playing Dark Souls, but I have also started playing Tomba (or Tombi as he's known in other places). Been twelve years since I last played this game. It's actually quite fun.

Dat music too:

Football Manager 2015 beta just came out, so I've been playing that. Chose to play as New York City FC, which won't be in the league untill 2015, when the America start date is January 2014. However, since NYCFC is an expansion team, this means I have just 1 year to build a team essentially from scratch, including the management team excluding myself. But at least I have the kind of bankroll that only a joint venture between the NY Yankees and Manchester City could produce.

Civs beyond earth
Is it like Master of Orion where you pick which people to play as and you normally start with just your homeworld and eventually spread to other worlds, while meeting aliens who've done the same?

It's like civilization on a different planet. No going to new planets or meeting any sentient aliens. There are hostile animal like aliens though.

That's it? You could set up a scenario in Civ 2 that does that. The Mars scenario in Civ 2 is already like that, and there's a scenario in Civ Rev called "Beta Centauri" where you do that.

I'm guessing Civ BE probably takes on that concept in more detail though.

Been playing both Infamous 2 and Fantasy Life on the 3DS. Playing Infamous 2 reminds me of how much I enjoyed the first game.

Steam Sale made me buy some Saints Row games: 2, 3 and 4. I'm starting with Saints Row 2 and moving on from there.
