I've been playing through Grand Theft Auto V after I came across it at a Sam's Club for $15 brand new. I wasn't exactly excited to play it at first, since I didn't really like GTAIV, but I'm pleased to say that it has been really enjoyable. Although to be honest, I guess that it is what you could call a "placeholder" game for me until Smash comes out on Friday.

Destiny was the last game I played recently. So far I'm almost to level 20.

I like playing it, but my two biggest complaints about it is the lack of story and repetitive campaign missions. Literally 95% of all missions boil down to "Oh hey, I'll open up this door/hack this terminal for you! Oh look, the aliens are coming! Just kill them all so I can open the door/hack the terminal safely kthxbai!"

I've been replaying Half Life Opposing Force.

It's a lot shorter than I remember but it still has brilliant pacing and wonderfully diverse weapons. I just got through the pitch black Voritgore maze and I'm close to the carpark where the nuclear bomb you have to defuse is located. Which is right before the final chapter World's Collide.

Oh god, the Voltigore maze. That was the worst part of that whole game.

I can never decide if Opposing Force is better or worse than Half-Life. It definitely has better weapons, although I always thought the Shock Roach was rather overpowered. I also liked fighting the Black Ops, but I hated that it pitted you up against Black Ops soldiers and those goddamned assassins at the same time.

On the other hand, I never liked the new aliens' designs, and the final boss fight sucks.

Yeah I'm kind of burned out with Destiny. They really need to add more content to keep it fresh. And I don't mean the Queens Wrath do the same missions again for a different reward kind. It is a fun game but I just kind of ran out of things to do.

I'm close to the end of another playthrough of Dead Rising 2 off the Record. I've played enough of this and regular Dead Rising 2 that I can't remember what item/ survivor locations are which game. I picked up a survivor right before rescue came so I got stuck carrying an old lady through hordes of super zombies and into a boss battle. On the way back I got stuck with an old lady that couldn't walk fast, a wounded woman, a wounded soldier and one soldier that was fine. I found a vehicle to make life easier but the old lady got stuck running behind the SUV as I slowly drove it through the crowd down just about the entire strip. Anyway they all made it safely and the only person missing in my notebook is Chuck when he is player 2.

Dragon Age: Origins.

AWW YISS!

Best conversation ever!:

Morrigan:"Are we to have this mangy beast follow us now?"

Allistair:"He's not mangy....."

Also, I tend to jump around. Playing some Wasteland 2, some Warframe, and mixing it up with some dragons crown, muramasa rebirth, and project diva F

Goddamn paradox sale on steam. I'm playing crusader kings 2 which is an amazing time eater.

I've been hooked on Dust 514 and Eve Online (mostly Dust).
If you haven't played either game yet, be warned: CCP tends to make games with steep learning curves.

If anyone here is interested in or already playing these games, send me a PM and we can hook up in game.

Managed to eliminate the Sarranid Sultanate in Mount & Blade: Warband. Now I have the Khergits and Swadians to deal with. If enough lords face exile and I get enough fief's, I could start my own kingdom.

I've been playing a lot of Metal Gear Solid 3. Specifically on the European Extreme difficulty. I just beat the boss fight with The Pain.

Thus far it is interesting just how hard it is to complete the game with zero alerts whatsoever. It took me several hours to complete the assault with the Ocelots at the very start of the game. Although it is sorta annoying how even if you save the game you still respawn at the last checkpoint regardless once you fail.

Wasteland 2 - Feel's like old school Fallout and I am loving every minute of it.

I keep swinging around between Napoleon Total War, Poker Night at the Inventory, DCS World (MiG-21bis yo!) and a couple of other things.

Currently playing Sm4sh.

It's so awesome. I unlocked all the characters a few hours ago.

Played some Crysis 2 on PS3 along with the PS3 version of Peace Walker. Kinda fun taking down Lockhart and finding Zhadornov respectively.

Playing through Dark Souls: Prepare to Die edition.

I forgot how fun and amazing this game was. Taking down those damned bell gargoyles by myself has been one of the most satisfying things that I've accomplished in a while.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf. My girlfriend wanted me to start playing, and my "Mayor" currently has a black cap, camo shirt and skeleton pants... I need shades, so I can be part of Deagle Nation.

I got back to Dark Souls today, after a few-months-long hiatus caused by my graphics card giving up due to overheating and me fixing it by baking it in an oven.

Holy cow this game is still so much fun. Apparently, when I last played it in March, I was stuck on Artorias. So today I went in with Zweihander only (no shield) and defeated him on my first try, relying entirely on dodging. That felt badass. :D

I even got invaded once in Oolacile Township and managed to defeat the invader! That's a first for me.

Sadly, even though I kept laying down my summon sign, I got no summons.
