Got Dead State on Early Access, and I'm pretty impressed. Combat is decent enough, animations and graphics are a bit wonky but what can you expect when an indy team decideds to go for 3d, and it defiantly has the proper zombie apocalypse feel that most zombie games excluding Project Zomboid and Telltale Walking Dead seem to lack.. By which I mean you actually are afraid of the zombies, and humans are completely terrifying.

Gonna tell a little story about my first encounter with raiders. Me ( a doctor with a few points in mele), a cop, and a female truck driver have left the safe house after being told by the other doctor (actually a vetrinarian, and the trucker's daughter, she serves as the primary medic if you aren't medically trained) that we are dangerously low on antibiotics, and one of the other survivors (who is still unconscious at this point in the game) desperately needs them. On the way there we get a random encounter with some raiders at a camp, we pick them off easily, but other than 3.5 gallons of gas (we need 4 to run the generator for a day), they didn't have anything good. We have mostly 3/4 health, except the cop is around 1/2.

But finally we arrive at the pharmacy. We slowly work our way around, picking off the zombies one at a time. It should be noted that our weapons are baseball bats for me and the trucker, and the cop has a POS night stick and a service revolver with 2 bullets. We enter the pharmacy, and start going through the shelves. Didn't seem to be hit too hard, as we get quite a haul. but as we go for the last selectable shelf, the game switches to turn based mode. Around the corner from a shelf comes a bandit, who thanks to the angle we triggered her, has nearly all of her action points after approaching us.

Her first move is to fire two bullets into the cop, who is dropped instantly. He's not dead, but he's bleeding out, so he needs to be bandaged by yours truly quickly. We run up to her with melee weapons, and I even get a single hit in before it's her turn. Her first move? Execute the cop. Her second bullet then strikes me, leaving me with a sliver of health. Then a pair of zombies approach us from behind. I have me and the trucker just leg it, and the zombies start swarming the looter, and she uses her last bullets on them. We come back, bash everyone's skulls in, and collect the rest of the pills and whatnot, but leave behind the only guy who knows how to use a damn gun, since his brains are currently on vacation from his skull.

Playing the latest version of The Forest. It's insane how strong the mutants are now. One literally punched me across half the map. I ended up flying up a hill, over the plane, over a cliff and into a nearby river. And then when I spawned inside the cave, I flick my lighter on and find I'm completely surrounded by mutants. Ended about as well as you'd expect.

Among some others, Master of Orion 2. Best game in the series, and my favorite space "4X" game at the moment.

I played the SNES version of it a friend's house when I was a kid and just randomly remembered it the other day. Had no idea it was a originally a PC game. Pretty fun stuff.

Unturned. I really haven't accomplished anything. I just like peeling around in a squad car with the siren blaring and running over zombies until i starve to death. Since you respawn without any gear (including clothes) I am also naked while doing this.

I got my hands on Hyrule Warriors and it's pretty awesome. Finally being able to play as Ganondorf in a Zelda game is a dream come true

Current list of games that I'm playing:

Valiant Hearts (XB1): almost done with chapter 2.
Destiny (XB1): Working on the Venus missions, sitting at level 14.
Minecraft (XB1): Building a pyramid. Outside is finished, working on the interior.
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow (GBA): Just beat Julius Belmont.
Super Smash Bros. Melee (GC): Decided to play it again.

The Pokemon TCG Online game after discovering that there's an iPad version of the game in Canada.

I would be playing Dark Souls 2... if the DLC hadn't been briefly put up so now people are playing it when others can't.

Just started Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain almost immediately after beating Soul Reaver. The game's UI was a little weird to get used to at first, but once I got the hang of the controls, I'm finding the game to be a lot of fun.

Currently playing Saint's Row IV. It's been forever since I've played a game where moving around the sandbox world is this fun.

Are you playing on Playstation or PC? This is the only Legacy of Kain game I haven't played. :(

I recently fell back onto the Civ 5 wagon. Beyond Earth is out in less than a month and I don't know how I'm going to last until the Steam Christmas sale to get it.

I'm playing the Playstation version.

Has anybody played "The Long Dark"? I'm thinking about getting it. Reviews looks good so far.

I've been playing nothing but the Super Smash Bros demo. I want this game so badly and the fact Friday wont come faster is agonizing. I could just explode right now because of how much I want the full game.

And also Shovel Knight, I guess.

I've been replaying Half Life Opposing Force.

It's a lot shorter than I remember but it still has brilliant pacing and wonderfully diverse weapons. I just got through the pitch black Voritgore maze and I'm close to the carpark where the nuclear bomb you have to defuse is located. Which is right before the final chapter World's Collide.

Got up to chapter 4 in Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited. So much to do, it's overwhelming at times.
