Death only appears in a floor of Tartarus if you stay on that floor for too long. Or you select a cracked window card after a battle.

He's one of the harder bosses in the game and it's only recommended to fight him when you're over level 70. You also need to kill death as a part of a quest inorder to unlock the bonus dungeon.

Yeah, after one battle I drew some kind of cursed card. That's when Death spawned.

I've been playing Destiny and I don't think I have ever encountered a loot system that trolls me this much. Especially one where you need the loot to gain levels. It is really starting to demoralize me into stop playing for a while.

I'm downloading Wasteland 2 now. Destiny doesn't work on collage campuses. Fuck Bungie for thinking using the same type of connection as torrents was a good idea.

I picked up GMOD again recently after a few years away from it. Little has changed in that time, the community and the servers feel exactly the same. Even the memes are overwhelmingly the exact same memes from several years ago. Haha, what the hell.

Playing TF2, and enjoying the experience -I have been awarded a few weapons. I am pretty sure I like playing as the Engineer best.

Wasteland 2.
I'm currently messing around in the character creator.

The custom portrait feature is a very nice thing.

Torment is awesome. Really innovative approach to gaming.

Yes, considering that it is 15 years old it is still very playable. I was pretty much able to just pick it up and start playing without spending a half hour reading the instruction manual. In a way the interface, and the graphics remind me a lot of fallout.

I hadn't thought about that, but you're right. Torment and the 2e AD&D games with the BG engine are very similar to Fallout. I didn't care for Icewind Dale though. BG 1 & 2, along with Torment, are awesome.

Recently, I've been playing 4 games above all others:

Destiny, which isn't all that good but playing with KidKitty has turned a medicore shooter-RPG that somehow out-spent the movie Waterworld into a mildly enjoyable experience. At least it's been less of a cluster-fuck than Dark Souls 2, which has had such horrid balancing done that two of the starting classes are nonviable and magic has become functionally useless in. Seriously, Our Pet Lolcow could probably balance a game better. To this day I can't mention it without KidKitty flying into a hate-filled rant.

Warframe, which had a massive event recently and I had to finish maxing out my godlessly powerful graphically violent equalizer (Read: 5x Forma'd Buzlok) before the promo affinity booster burnt off.

At work, I've been playing Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan during breaks, which is probably my favorite one in the series and I've been playing in preparation for when Etrian Odyssey Untold II: The Fafnir Knight comes out, as well as the also-announced Etrian Odyssey V.

And lastly, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, which is full of enough hilarity and 1980s to warm even the coldest heart. You know how you can recommend the Batman: Arkham games to people who don't know anything about Batman? Same deal here, but for Transformers. I'm genuinely surprised OPL doesn't have this game.

Currently playing through Spyro 2 again after 12 years.

Also, I'm playing Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver for the first time. Interesting game so far.

Thief 2. Had to restart on the first mission since I accidentally deleted all my saves for the game.

Playing Shadowrun Returns: Dragonfall and seriously regretting going with a Decker/Drone build, because if the Drone dies during combat, I now have a party member who has a glorified keyboard to fight baddies off with.

I have also apparently unintentionally made every possible bad decision in the game, including, but not limited to.
Working with a conspiratorial organization that appears to be Illuminati esque, and now owns my ass.

Allowing a devil worshiping cult leader to escape because I thought I could pull off both freeing his thralls and killing him, only accomplished the first by purifying the lesser demon that acted as a median between him and his deity.

Releasing a sentient Black IC AI from it's shackles in an attempt to both get it to stop hunting me, and to get it to go after the people I am also after. Technically seems to have not backfired, but seeing how I have now learned it needs to mind rape people to survive, just because I"M safe, doesn't mean it was a good decision.

And agreeing to help aforementioned AI re-engineer a bio weapon that was made to kill off the 17 (?) dragons that manipulate humanity into something that will fuck humanity over less if released than BioWeapon 1.0, instead of outright destroying said weapon. Unsure if at this point and time I will be able to back out of that decision.

So yeah, someone please take my shadowrunner license away from me, I'm clearly unqualified.

Started a second playthrough of Deadly Premonition. I'm gonna try to play more sidequests this time.

I'm also playing Dark Souls and Borderlands again.
