I'm playing Endless Legend now. I doubt I'll ever touch RE5 again, its such an inferior experience to RE4 and the past games.

I'm going to load up WoW again and try mage towers. I just need the demo skin for my warlock main.

Is it possible to steamroll the towers on my shitty alts with a mix of LFR and Argus gear?

San Andreas, I modded the game to run on modern systems with proper HD support. I even modded it to run on 144 fps, problem is though whenever I go swimming, CJ swims incredibly slow and whenever I go and dive, he floats back up.

Played FEAR earlier but with some recording software to see if the video will have "activate Windows" as part of the footage since I haven't activated Windows 10. Haven't really gotten far in the playthrough but I can remember why the shotgun is a good weapon.

Okami HD is pretty good. It'd be a lot better if Issun would shut his fucking mouth, but it's still good.

TF2 pubbing just isn't the same anymore, I can't play that shit on my own now without just wanting to quit :heart-empty:

Been on a Wario kick as of late. Have both Warioware Inc and Twisted on my gba emulator and just got started on Wario Land 1.

Metroid: Samus Returns - Still feels as linear as the original, more of a run-and-gun type of Metroid, but really fun to play.
Shantae - Sexy genie girl, open Simon's Quest type world. It's fun farming money with my deadly hair. I'm going to buy all the attack moves and become undisputed mistress of the dance club, not necessarily in that order.

Yeah, all my gaming is on the 3DS right now. The 3-4 hour battery charge time gives me incentive to get off my lazy ass.

Still Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire. I have not put that game down for over a week now (well, apart from eating, sleeping, bathing, and work). It's completely engaging and wondrous in the way the first game wasn't, and listening to the crew sing sea shanties on the world map while paused is great all by itself.

"When I was a little lad, or so my mother told me
WAY HAUL AWAY, AND HAUL AWAY AND GO
That if I did not kiss the girls my lips they would go mouldy!
Singing, WAY HAUL AWAY, AND HAUL AWAY AND GO"

The companion quests are brilliant, the relation meters within the party are pretty cool (hint: Never take Pallegina and Xoti out on the same time because Pallegina is a full-on fedora wearer and Xoti is hopelessly devout), the romances don't turn into plot tumours (Bioware, are you taking notes here?). The only thing I'll fault it on is that some of the higher level wizard spells are just unfair - Abi-Dalzim's Horrid Wilting Wilting Wind, Chain Lightning, Mordenkainen's Sword Citzal's Warding Staff, and Crash into Slumber are a wee bit oh pee and thus make certain battles a bit too easy if the opponent doesn't have any way of getting their frontliners up in your wizard's face or doesn't hose them down with arquebus fire first off.

I also really, really, like the setting and how everyone's all good intentioned but a bit shady. The Vailian Trading Company (Renaissance Italy) is out for profit and wants to trade with the natives and others but is more than happy to turn a blind eye to enslaving them and selling them elsewhere. The Rauataians (Polynesian Imperialists) are clearly intending to bring order and civilization but their diplomacy is extremely gunboat. The Principi sen Patrena (PIRATES!!!!) are, well, pirates, but they actually have a belief in freedom. And the Huana natives (Hawaiians with added lost technology) are determined to preserve their culture and traditions but that includes a caste system which sees those at the bottom literally living in a rubbish tip and systematically starved. Then there's the always hostile Fire Giants who have Viking longships with flamethrowers mounted on them, a lost tribe of Boreal Dwarves (Inuit) who ended up stranded on a desert island forcibly serving a self-styled god, and similar.

Puts the standard fantasy setting with black powder of the first game in the shadows somewhat.

I'm trying to finish a Total War: Warhammer 2 High Elf campaign before the High Elf DLC comes out at the end of the month so I can get started on...a High Elf campaign. Eh, the first campaign was good practice, and I'll get to play a different Legendary Lord with the DLC: Everqueen Alarielle, who is the wife of the Legendary Lord in my current campaign. Kinda cool.

Fire Emblem Fates with the redub patch and Witcher 3 Blood and Wine because that's some good shit.
Been on a Wario kick as of late. Have both Warioware Inc and Twisted

Warioware is the shit, shame its as dead as an IP can be.

Underrail. I've beat the game twice before once as a pure psi guy and another as an ancient infused rathound leather armored beast who killed the final boss with his bare hands. Recently, I've been trying out a gunslinger build I'm slowly building up as I go along. I managed to get by the Junkyard just fine and snagged the Smith & Wesson .44 crit machine but I still don't have the dexterity needed to lower the AP cost down to 25 so I can fire it more than once. Camp Hathor's mine is giving me a lot of trouble. Fucking poison spike shooting Burrowers.

Ghost Of A Tale, I can't find the words to describe just how wonderful a game this is.

I've also been playing Hyperdimension Neptunia so I can understand more about it and why it made Chris-Chan go crazy. I may just skip HD Neptunia and forget it ever existed, the writing and gameplay are both shit.

i've seen a guy go thru all the ReBirth series on PC awhile back and he said the original ps3 versions of the games were even worse, too point of were he need a guide to beat the first game, those games seem like it's just copypasta rooms over and over again and the talking parts are just like as long as a VN, it's like how not to make an RPG

but other than i can't decide to play either one piece warrios 3 or hyrule warriors defentive editon for switch

I owned the first one on PS3, and yeah all the jokes were horrible. They weren't "references" or "parodies" it was just Neptune basically shouting "HEY DID YOU KNOW MARIO EXISTS!"

Combine that with an endless grind, being locked out of recruiting the other characters if Neptune died too many times, fetch quests tied to other fetch quests... I gave up on having to find the sacred weapons of "Miyamoto, Gates, Naka, and... the name of the Sony person", again, no joke outside of "The Weapons are named after famous people associated with those COMPANIES! Get it!?!? Even though Bill Gates had nothing to do with the Xbox's development in the slightest and thus honoring him specifically is as random as if they had a 3DO Console Goddess"

You don't find the weapons, you find the PIECES of the weapons, then have to do quests to repair them... most specifically I gave up when I run through several quests just to be able to enter a dungeon, where I'd find the "String of the Bow of Gates!" (Seriously, Bill Gates has more to do with the Windows 95 version of Doom than the Xbox itself, was any research at all done? You know what'd be kind of funny, if the Nintendo Goddess bragged about a magical dress called a "Rare Wear", but the Microsoft Goddess stole it and proceeded to be very incompetent at using it, never getting positive results, but refusing to give it back... since ya know that references something about gaming and not just the fact that games exist, and would be... something of a joke)

and even then you don't actually get to use these magic super weapons, you just... need them to continue the story.

I quit and never looked back, right now I'm playing the PC Remake, the jokes are a lot better (by that I mean existant, it resembles a spoof instead of just shouting "HEY LOOK! I KNOW A FRANCHISE EXISTS!"), the best character from the original (Nisa, who actually acted like a parody of the company she personified, probably because Nippon Ichi wrote her lines and they're good at humor, especially self-referential) is missing, but the gameplay is improved and more action based.

I never played the original sequels, but I hear the Remakes are almost identical to the original, they only really overhauled the first one because even these people knew how bad it was.

I had gotten the first game way back when it came out because I thought the idea of celebrating gaming with a literal console war and having characters who spoofed various moments in gaming history was a cool idea, but god damn does the execution leave much to be desired.

The fact that all of the characters are either bland (Neptune, Blanc), or derivative (Compa is just Flonne from Disgaea, Iffy is every Tomboy character ever) doesn't help, and anytime Neptune isn't being bland she's being obnoxiously unfunny.

How did that trainwreck ever had sequels, let alone six or seven sequels, a Senran Kagura style entry, a visual novel, three remakes, and an anime? It can't be the fanservice, none of the girls are particularly sexy or interesting. I guess I can see the sex appeal in Compa, Noire, and Vert specifically, but two of those are characters you get very late in and ONLY if you don't lose Planeptune Shares by having Neptune die in battle too often. Since Neptune HAS to be in the party for a majority of the game even if you do get the extra three DLC characters, it's guruanteed she's gonna take a few losses, especially in a game genre as reliant on RNG as a turn based RPG. (The remake made it more of an Action RPG to combat this specific problem)

From what little I've seen of the anime, the writing isn't very improved from the first entry. I mean the line "Oooh baby, you make my Metal Gear as Solid as a Snake" actually made it in the fucking anime.

Anyway enough of that rant, if you're choosing between One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 and Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition, I'd say unless you're a massive One Piece fanboy go for Hyrule Warriors it's just a better experience overall.

I mean they're both Warriors games so they both have a lot of replayability. (Though I seriously have to wonder why Vivi and Mr. 2 Bon Clay aren't playable in One Piece Pirate Warriors 3)

Finally getting around to dark souls 3. Is pyromancer still busted as hell?

I'm playing Monster Hunter World on my ps4 rn. I'm around 120+ hours into the game and I just got to the final story boss but I think I'm going to take a break since a friend reminded me that Dragon's Dogma exists and I remembered I'm on my second play through in that game. And I think I was halfway through the expansion pack and the story when I took a break to come back to monster hunter.
And the past couple days in mhw, I've just been grinding the same monster three or four times just so I'd have the right elemental weapons for the three story elder dragons. Now don't get me wrong- I find it fun to farm certain monsters to get the right amount of materials for some kickass armor but it's left me a little exhausted. DD has grinding but the character customization and weapons I get don't rely on me farming one specific enemy, hoping I'd get that item that has a 2% drop rate if I hit a specific part of the monster ( hmmmm Deviljho and his salvia)

Replaying Jade Empire (it deserves a sequel or a reboot) and playing Mad Max (really awesome atmosphere).

Are you playing it with the Duke Controller? Can't go wrong with it.
Nope, Xbox One backwards compatibility. It's criminal how this game didn't get a sequel, but maybe that can change one day...
