Currently playing world of tank blitz because I like throwing money at collectable tanks so they can sit in my garage forever. Ive decided I need a tier X tank from every nation, that I grind as well. I have China and Japan left I think. I went light tank for British and while I like the vickers, my playstyle is way to agressive for a light tank. I went EU Tank Destroyer just so I could have a little more turning radius on my turret so I that I didnt have to sit back and snipe.

EFT 1.0 launches tomorrow so I plan on hating myself for at least a day while I try it out.

Also dabbling in POE2 beta but I get bored after mapping, the grind gets too steep for the payoff. Still a fun game as the combat is much more engaging. Thinking about doing an HC league at some point.

Been playing fucktons of Eternal Darkness on GameCube. Going for the "true ending" that requires 3 playthroughs.

It's so good playing a cosmic horror story that isn't just fucking Cthulhu or Innsmouth again, and the story and gameplay mechanics are braided together in some of the best ludonarrative congruence I've ever seen in a game.
I was kinda surprised at how much I'm having to go out of my way to play badly to see Sanity effects, though. I have to intentionally not do finishers on monsters AND choose not to use the Recover Sanity spell, to have a chance of getting it low. Even when the antagonist of this run is Xel'lotath, whose minions all deal direct Sanity damage when they hit you.

I'm having better luck with seeing them this time, and funnily enough the "TV power cut" Sanity effect actually tricked me because I've been playing on a 15+ year old plasma tv, so the effect was convincing.

Alternating between FFXIV, Elite Dangerous, and finishing The Room 3 (last one i havent beaten) which i highly recommend.

Binged Wuthering Waves last month and had a great time feasting on the gorgeous environments and surprisingly good story. In the fading afterglow it's like BM: Wukong where I've just been spoiled and am trying to find another adventure that measures up. Clair Obscur seems promising but the opening is depressing as fuck and I'll need to be in a better mood to get further in. Scratching the nostalgia itch with Pokemon Unbound and it's really fun so far, very good mechanics and the writing isn't cringe like the other ROM hacks I've tried, Also got back into Palworld and had fun on a new game for a few hours until I reached the resource wall where you have to grind hundreds of ore to craft anything, maybe 1.0 will fix that shit. New PoE2 league to no-life next month so until then I think I'm just going to kick back with some Pokemon and try to fill out WuWa exploration.

For some ungodly reason, Starfield, this time with a few Creations since that seems to be where the modders that put actual effort into modding have gone. I'll probably go into more detail in the dedicated Starfield thread, but despite finding two I really liked, they suffer a problem modders cannot fix: they are mods for Starfield. I cannot recommend getting Starfield in good conscience. I just get possessed to play it once in a while because the super-deluxe edition came with my video card and I keep wondering if I missed something. No, I didn't pay for them. There's also the fact that, despite the fact you pay for them, you still potentially have to do load order finagling to resolve mod conflicts. The Watchtower creation kept making my game crash till I did research and found it does not play nice with mods that alter NPC behaviors and/or stats. I dread how much of a shitshow TES VI will be.

FFX and Dispatch i despise critical role and how they've ruined the internet nerd community but i'm willing to give this reddit marvelslop game a try.

Been switching between mindlessly playing GTA Online (Like a beaten housewife, I keep coming back even though it doesn't love me) and the Minecraft realm me and some IRL friends have had for a year or so.

Arguably they're both better after a drink and a left-handed cigarette.

Played a quick match of World of Warships this morning. Got a kill from the grave with two torpedoes and the flooding it caused. Finally unlocked Montana too. Also been playing Halo 2 and War Thunder in my rotation recently

Warships is still fun, but I'm a old user with a lot of ships. Joining matches is quick, and you can put in a little daily to save up. Also generous with free premium time.

I knew you had good taste, Welper. Guessing you're not a battleship main if you have lots of ships but haven't gotten Monty yet. It's a damn good ship.

I've been playing way too much WOWS recently to unlock all the 10th anniversary giveaway ships. Wargaming really went all out for this one, which was nice.

It's a shame sharing your gamer handle is a good way to powerlevel high enough to get phonebooked, it would be fun to have a kiwifarms clan on there.

Also, finally got around to playing and finishing Expedition 33. It's been a very long time since I've played a game that was the complete package. Could quite possibly be game of the decade.

I have been playing Silent hill 2 the original PlayStation 2 version emulated on PCSX2 with a logitech controller. I played the Xbox port restless dreams first (on original hardware) and then the remake on PC but hadn't played the OG until now and it's fantastic. The difference in fog is quite noticeable and in a game like SH2 it makes a big difference.

Just best The Citadel and am immediately going back though on new game+. The citadel is a lesser known retro style shooter probably because it was made by a Japanese pervert and sometimes feels like it's made with popsicle sticks. The games pretty notorious for its anime gore aesthetics which many see as guro fetishism, the guy who made the game stresses it's not a sex thing and just 90s fps style gibs with an anime artstyle. I may have believed that if not for the main character wearing a vertical belt for pants and the fact you see your boobs when you look down...
Well enough about the creepy shit because the games despite all that is amazing. The gunplay is just fantastic, the fact every enemy just explodes feels so satisfying. The games very inspired by marathon so your going to need to reload, in fact guns like the pistol and shotgun need you to load every bullet. When you start it very tense and you have use the lean functions to slowly take out enemies like a tactical shooter. There's also the fact you're very squishy, you can die in one spray of bullets but thankfully the game has zero hitscanners, every bullet is a real projectile you can dodge. The early game is kinda stressfull trying to conserves resources but as you build your arsenal the game let's just become a murder machine, It gives a very nice feeling of progress
The weapons are a joy, you got your usuals like the pistol shotgun machine gun rocket launcher but also have stuff like an air strike gun, the Zeus energy pistol from marathon and a fucking weird kinda disturbing demon gun that turns people into ash statue comple with very unsettling scream. Also like marathon every gun has alt fires like the pistol shooting grenades or the rifle shooting a laser, between the like 20 guns and there alts theirs a ton of ways to murder. Sometimes the game even gives you a gaint mech rampage in, just make sure to actually get in mech since the game gives zero direction so like me you might accidentally turn one of the most fun levels into a unbearable slog. That's the thing the game gives very little direction, there's some bookshelves with tutorials but the game never tells you how to read them, the info you'll get from the game is by looking at the key bindings.
The game also has a wonderful oppressive atmosphere, it's amateurishness gives off a real uncanny vibe that's hard to put into words. It's lots of weird layout done I'm this dark teal tile set that I really love, apperatetly is inspired by a Japanese msx game called relics. The music also works great but there looped very poorly. As for the story it's barely there, the plots just pathways into darkness but with weird hr giger anime angels.
The biggest problem though is the game is genuinely made poorly, the game crashed dozens of times for where I couldn't even close it with task manager, I had to create a virtual desktop to close it every time.
The citadel one of the besg games that's recommendation would need the most
asterisks. Can you look past anime gore to the point of fetishism? can you get past the mc having one of most perverted outfits in anime? can you get past a game giving minimal instruction? can you get past a game crashing half the times you die? If so your in for a really fun shooter.

I'm a "everything" main. My account is truly ancient. I have fun with battleships, it's why I unlocked Montana lol, but I also like cruisers, destroyers, and all the rest. The secret is having fun and not getting hyperfocused on unlocking everything at once. You will eventually. Just be patient and enjoy the game.

As for the recent event, yes its been fucking nuts. I don't put money into the game, never have, but they are literally giving Dobloons away. Im never running out lol.

Also, finally got around to playing and finishing Expedition 33. It's been a very long time since I've played a game that was the complete package. Could quite possibly be game of the decade.
Haven't played it, but might with all I've heard about it.

I have pretty much everything I want unlocked. Monty was my first T10, and is still one of my favorite overall.

Been trying to get a handle on gunboat destroyers lately, what with all the freebies. My problem has been getting too aggressive with them and then getting dead not long after getting aggressive.

For Expedition 33, all I should say is be very careful to not read spoilers.

Destroyers are much more fragile it feels than they used to be. You still have torpedo spam, but it feels there is more balance than in years past, and as such, DDs die quicker

World of Warships, still fun, sometimes annoying. No idea wtf is going on with the trillion different currencies and events.

I am putting way too many hours into the As We Descend EA, wish for a speedy full release but even though they update regularly it's a long way until then.

Been throwing shit at the wall in Darkest Dungeon 2.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result, and I could use a nice, cozy padded cell right now.

Picked up cult of the lamb and started playing through it. Happy tree friends vibes. The combat is alright, and the Tarot cards make it a little more interesting. It's not super difficult to get a decent amount of followers early on and dedicate them to praying to fill out the divine inspiration tree and get a leg up for later in the game. Only complaint is that late game it's tedious as hell to collect Sin unless you have a specific tarot card.

I've been playing Ubislop Feynix Rising; I bought it digitally so I'm stuck with it.

Honestly, it's not bad, but after months at this point, good god, am I ready to move onto something else. I can do puzzles, but I want action in my games. More action. I'm already so strong I can kill everything on Hard without even trying.
Ubislop... never ends. I've played enough Ass Cred games to know that.
