Never played God of War before as I have owned a Sony game console. I wasn't expecting much when I torrented it. I did not read any reviews, just wanted to check it out. I was very surprised as I seriously enjoyed it. It was the first time since the Witcher 3 that I was sucked into the story. First video game I have played in well over a year and I just couldn't put it down. Finished the main story, but there's a bunch more side quests and unexplored areas to visit.
Very happy Sony is bringing some of their catalog to PC. I had fun with Days Gone. Both games were good ports with no technical issues.
Just been playing a lot of Evil Dead (2022). Just about finished leveling up the survivors, probably going to finish my playthrough of Fire Emblem Awakening afterwards.
Bit the bullet and got the Mechwarrior 5 DLC so I reinstalled it to continue the campaign. Much better than when I played it a year ago, the DLC missions are more fun and feel more like I'm in a proper mech battlefield.
The main campaign/random missions are still terrible however. Despite claims of it being fixed the AI will still drop full enemy lances on top of you or randomly spawn them 50m behind you. Once I finally beat campaign I'm going to hop on career mode and hope it's more enjoyable.
Retail on Bahamut. There seem to be only 2 kinds of private servers. Ones with 4x xp multipliers or hyper autistic ones filled with people that want to go back to 2007.
Juggling a few right now. I just finished Wandersong yesterday, and it was a cute whimsical game. Otherwise I'm slowly making my way through DMC5 and Greedfall. Still doing the dailies for The Binding of Isaac: Repentance, and I'm hurtling through Crystal Project.

That's the problem i was having looking for a good private server. i just want to play retail without paying for it. I've heard you can play it solo with AI party members you collect so I was thinking it might be a lot of fun to do the content i never was able to.

Yep, the trust system let's you summon up to 5 npcs to run around with. Not all content allows you to use them, but I'm pretty sure all the story content does. The trust wiki page shows what content they can and can't be used in.
I'm hoping the Dragon Quest 10 offline version does well enough that SE considers doing the same for FFXI. Hell, they've done most of the work already with the trusts.
Mystia's Izakaya. A Chinese fangame about Mystia running a restaurant. Very chillaxing gameplay with a phenomenal soundtrack, even among Touhou standards. My personal GOTY for 2022.
Yes, I know it was released in 2021, but the English translation wasn't dropped until 2022.
Currently playing Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. I'm slowly working my way up fighting and completing the Master Rank armor sets as I go. I'm at Master Rank 2 right now.
Yakuza games always take me forever to complete because I spend so much time doing the side/ambient stuff. The game world is small, but it feels so much more alive than something like GTAV.
