Wild Turkey 101 again. Rocks, to let the melting ice mellow it out a bit. Still a personal favorite.

one cup syrup but it's 1/3 cherry syrup, 2/3 simple syrup. one cup lemon juice. three cups water. then 3 shots everclear and ice. best homemade cherry hard lemonade.

Linie Aquavit

First time trying it and I'm glad I went out of my way to hunt a bottle of this crap down considering it's somewhat hard to find around here and the flavor is unique enough (to me anyway) to warrant how many stores I ended up having to check to get it. I heard about aquavit years ago but casually browsing through liquor stores every now and then never led to finding any. Would definitely recommend if you like licorice and vodka.

I like that Linie has a much mellower flavor than some of the other aquavit I've tried. More than one has been super dill-heavy, while Linie goes down very well neat or with tonic water.

Tax: Woodford Reserve Double Oaked. It's just on the cusp of being too sweet, but I really like the butterscotch and cedar notes.

I guess this is double-posting, but currently enjoying a slightly modified Negroni (Beefeater, Campari, Fratelli Vincenzi Rosso, orange twist), with the addition being a couple of dashes of orange bitters. Highly recommended.

Oh man, negroni is my absolute fave cocktail and I am totally going to try this.

To add, if anyone enjoys bitter cocktails (I do), I'd recommend trying a Bitter Giuseppe. I had one recently and it almost rises above the negroni for me.

On topic, I had a fantastic day with work stuff today so I'm celebrating with a beer tonight. I like local craft beers so I'll pick up an IPA of some kind.

havana club spiced* and lemonade, because the shop was out of the cheap OJ i like with cheap vodka.

Got it because it was on discount it's not very good would not buy again.

Lidl liberte rum.... £15 from lidl and it's the smoothest rum I've ever had, also at 40% it helps cloud out various past life decisions.
