How is being a troon remotely a plus for a coroner? They can't even correctly identify a dead guy's sex. I doubt they'd be any better with the rest of the analysis.

Better question:

Why even elect coroners? Do they have some profound impact on public policy I don't know about? Not to mention medical examiners are better than coroners because they actually have to have medical training.
