Them drawing a penis on Gumball is more damning, and even that’s a bit of a nothingburger, because it’s not shocking to me to learn the animators had inside jokes and also made dirty jokes to amuse each other. It’s weird because Gumball is a kid character, but nothing out of the ordinary for a normal workplace.
If they find something huge, like the yaoi fan art of Ed, Edd, and Eddy Rebecca Sugar did, that might be something. But nothing earth-shattering so far has been posted.

It was never about the 'CAPITALISM AND BIG CORPOS' having control, it was about them wanting control over it and no one else. Hence the gatekeeping.
Aside from the weird milk image and the gumball penis, doesn't seem to be a lot of things that was meant to be kept under wraps but I can understand the immediate takedown.
