Oh god, that thing. I thought it was out for a while. Why does one of the characters wear shoes? Is that a lame Sanic joke?
Surprisingly it's a LOT tamer than human resources and especially big mouth was. The plots are run of the mill, "we're all in our 30s but still don't have our lives together " therapy sessions disguised as a western cartoon, but there's no full on nudity, there's barley any swearing, and aside the momments in the marketing theres not all that much shock/ fetish fodder as youd think. Minf you that doesnt excuse it from being trash. If it didn't have the baggage of trying to ride on what little fan base big mouth and resources had left before they got the ax.

It'd probably be at best a ripoff of a zootopia and beastars while fishing for sympathy by trying to rip off the relationship drama of bojack horseman, while failing to remember bojack got less comedic as it went on not more.

Babe, wake up! Another indie cartoon pilot just dropped!

I found it surprisingly hilarious. It's good to see FreedomToons trying to do something different from his usual short political animations. I personally found those pretty hit-or-miss.
There are enough good bits in it to call it entertaining.

Like the Whiskey Coffee getting shuffled around, the joke about the prison gangs being warped by the clone army.

Ted Turner started the channel after acquiring the rights to decades worth of old toons. Hanna-Barbera initially worked on Dexter, Johnny Bravo and PPG before pretty much getting liquidated into general Warner and I guess CN?
Okay, so Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy does have HB rights.

While working on the first season of Cow and Chicken, Atoms was approached by Hanna-Barbera executives for ideas for new short films. Among the ideas he presented to Hanna-Barbera was "Milkman", centering on an anthropomorphic, superhero milk carton who saves the missing children depicted on his back. Though the idea was rejected, executives were interested in Billy and Mandy, two characters that were to be featured in the project.

That explains a lot.

Oh, and Maxwell Atoms has Asperger's. That also explains its humor and shock value.
