In the original series there was a what if episode where Gwen gets the omnitrix, and later on in the other shows they said that episode was actually canon and part of an alternate universe, so I'm guessing this is just another universe where some chinese kids gets the omnitrix, like some miles morales kind of deal, that or the Ben fron that universe is chinese

This is one instance where the zodiac theming would actually kneecap it in my opinion since it'd put a limiter on how many aliens Not-Ben can acquire and turn into. But thats assuming it wouldn't just die after one season.

Maybe the other aliens will borrow from cultures in different countries, like a sphinx or hydra alien.

Tbf the magic transformation system in miraculous ladybug is partially based on the chinese zodiac and that doesnt stop them from adding new shit whenever they feel like it

According to google in-lore these were created by human mages and earthly spirits though, unsure why ben 10s *alien* technology thing would be so focused on chinese culture. I thought implying that aliens built the pyramids n shit was considered racist now.

The concept artist shared some reel on socmed and some of the BG art in it looks like concepts with a minotaur, so some are speculating there will be multiple mythologies pulled from or that it'll be an anthology AU series. Still pretty retarded when thy can't make their own alien designs, kinda defeats the whole premise unless they're saying all mythologies are based on ancient alien visitors.

I can't stop laughing at the trailer for TS5 and how they put the stupid orchestral drum hits all over. It's almost as if who ever did it was just like "okay you want perc hits, you'll get them all over this fucking song" to spite an executive that told him there weren't enough of them.

To be fair, even the original series had aliens based on classic horror monsters.
 
Ok guys this is getting pretty serious now with stuff going bad let’s just be real the animation industry its falling apart this is just sad and nauseating, the animation industry can’t be carried by bs bullshit like the anime that is garbage because we hate anime, and can’t be carried by just reboots. We are failing animation because nobody w ill watch cartoons, so we should make a pact to always watch new stuff that comes out but I will say some stuff is sloshy indie trash, but i have the worst news. Their are big reasons the animation industry will get worse, for the first reason is cartoon network will barely have no origins shows airing that are new that is just lazy and sloppy and also bad bad news is that Rebecca Sugar of Steen universe will be making more shows of a reboot called lars in the stars which is fucked up bc that show is gay propagranda and is just annoying and Steven is a whiny slave. Also the Loud House ending as you guys know will be detrimental to nickelodeon and the industry. Just basically all a lot of indie cartoons are only getting popular on youtube, this is just gapecrap im scared of the future for animation and how will we have good cartoons again like Camp Lazlo we need to do something a movement like I said our pact is a good idea and making sure cartoons stay produced also I have one last thing to say it is off topic but it’s my post and guess what IDC. I think Malcolm from malcolm in the middle is pretty ugly and gross looking, he can make you squeamish and nervous and sorry but i don’t even care because nobody will admit it
