Oh yeah, I saw that one. It's basically got jeff and walter, and this other ventriloquist who got popular from americas got talent who was a little girl and her rabbit puppet. Its fine, but off all the puppets dunham's done... why Walter? I understand not doing ones like achmed (being he also had a tv special, anyone else remember that. But more or less you can't make fun of muslims in a kids cartoon), jose the jalapeño on a stick same reason but with mexicans, he can't do the black puppet (obviously), he could have done it with peanut being he's a purple whatchamacallit and more cartoony looking than walter (whose whole entire joke is "muh wife's old and fat and i hate her.") Sure he'd have to tone down peanut like he did with walter but he'd probably fit more into it than walter.

I'm not a licensed JohnKologist enough to check if it lines up with other stated opinions (beyond the obvious "bob clampett good new thing (I'm not on) bad")
if it was somebody taking the piss I'd think they'd throw in some sort of joke about him being a creeper

"Unnatural forced dialogue" either he's literally retarded, or he's ragebaiting. Also lmao at "hack cartoonist stroking his ego in every cel," someone's projecting. Smiling Friends feels effortlessly funny, everything John K did feels like some pervert on crack was tasked with making Looney Tunes for adults.

I'll be honest, I actually think that an iPad stand-in as the villain is pretty clever. Like yeah, for a lot of households, it's replacing toys entirely. Why play with an action figure when you can just watch action scenes on YouTube or some shit? Plenty of games to play and bright colors to distract kids, they don't need toys at all.

This isn't to say I have any faith in the film, it's even doing the thing where an iconic male lead is made fun of for being old and stupid, but I sincerely think the idea actually works in general.

That whole thing still baffles me, I saw the opening to the first episode and it has Velma bitching about her favorite cartoon going woke and then saying "at least the main character is still white" and i can't figure out what they meant by this

It's litteraly this robot chicken joke only again...no irony what so ever. They're litteraly Turing what used to be jokes and parodies into serious stories out of desperation.


And the worst part? Not only is this movie reeking of "old people who think ipads are scary," there are smooth brained idiot disney adults and consumerist conformists who are looking FORWARD to this garbage.
