its dc animated. they cost money but they dont cost that much money for wb to throw at. they can afford making a few of these things once or twice a year

You could have Turkish Batman fight Wonder Woman for being Greek. You could change the story of Superman and have him raised by Gypsies in Bulgaria, and now both Batman and Wonder Woman hate him for being a Bulgarian Gypsy.

This stupid premise I made up not only has more potential thanks to making DC's 3 main superheroes fight each other while none of them are turned evil, but also makes a lot more sense than Batman defending a society practicing child sacrifice, as you could have all three of them justify their actions through the "tragedies" of their people committed by the other ethnic groups.

I liked it in the past, still do, but nowadays there's only so much I can watch of a rich manchild whining about his life even though a majority of his problems in life are caused by his ego or lack of basic self control.
 
But speaking seriously i never undestrstood why out of all things make batman an Aztec?, You know... a vigilante who is known to have a strong moral code wouldn't combine well with a turbo killing machine like the historical mexica empire, why not make a street level hero who fucks up cartels and street gangs in the shithole that is the capital city and make a more relevant and interesting plot?
