Dragon Prince's final season dropped and I think I can safely say this is probably one of the worst shows ever made. I guess last Airbender really was lightning in a bottle because holy FUCK did Ehasz's own project eat shit before the finish line.

A plot point was literally that a character was too stupid to take orders from the villain OR that everyone THOUGHT he was too stupid to take the villain's orders correctly.

I'm late to this, but I think this episode is the perfect encapsulation of the current discussion around transgenderism and youth, from the terminally online, pro-trans side (i.e. the people who wrote this episode).

They spend the ENTIRE episode trying to vilify the "karen" coach (named Coach Greer, because no matter how much work you do to advance biological women's rights, your legacy will forever be mauled if you dare speak out against troons), they know her viewpoint isn't as cartoonishly irrational as they want it to be, so they made sure to make her every expression as unhinged looking as possible.

I looked at every other antagonist in the show (both the super-powered ones and the human villain-of-the-day characters) and none of them are drawn or animated with as much contempt as this character is.

Her catchphase is "GIRL POWER!" to try and needle in that she's a terf. Amy Sedaris's performance does not sell her as a villain, no matter how hard the voice director tried. The tranny's voice actor also did a horrible job.

The resolution to the conflict of the episode is "Just get violent! Don't even try to win by the rules, just fucking smash every thing in sight"

Even worse, at the end of the episode, the tranny (who is consistently shown to be the best athlete on the girls' team) literally cuts the terf coach in half by spiking the trans flag at her.

Thick thighs, non existent waist, sizable chest. That's his type. I have no doubt in my mind that this is goonerbait from him.
He also spends a LOT of money on porn commissions, if you couldn't tell.
