so I'm watching the drawn together episode
Wooldoor Sockbat’s Giggle-Wiggle Funny Tickle Non-Traditional Progressive Multicultural Roundtable....and for those unfamiliar the episode involves a kid's show about progressive ideals leading to a future where the whole world's gone completely gay save for a small group of "normal people" leaving in the fringes and ruins the old society...


Now I'd like to remind you all that the episode aired in 2006, was written to be as over the top as possible and was a satire on public access children's television.


Anyone else feel like what was meant to be satire once has become a sick reflection of reality now?

No, since China etc. still won't air shows with explicit homosexual overtones or will cut or edit scenes with such content if they can.

Remember when this was a joke about a perverted, sexually harassing male? Now it would be considered transphobic to suggest that an obvious man who claims to be a lesbian isn't, and he has to get his cock sucked. Any woman who refuses is a bigot who needs to be raped.

If I have anything good to say it's this, while they've pulled two eps of Spongebob from paramount plus, they've also added of all things kablam to it. I think a few eps or sketches might be missing, most definitely the Angela anaconda ones but it's nice seeing a nearly lost piece of 90s Nick uploaded to an official service (even if like ren and stimpy you're better off watching the missing eps/segments online

Spidey and Cat's will-they-or-won't-they thing sure brings back some fond memories, I watched that show and X-men a lot as a kid (also Black Cat's fine abs 👌,)

Meanwhile, this is what "romance" is like in a superhero cartoon for "adults" NOW
I mean, the whole Harley/Ivy thing existed before, but jesus the writing is absolute tumblr level of cringe and it actually got praise for "realism". 90s cartoons with all their cheese had more mature dialogues than this.

And when will they fucking stop trying to make Harley likeable and shoehorning her into everything? I miss when she was just a fucking psycho obsessed with Joker who only got her degree because she fucked somebody.

I think that there is nefarious plot behind his actions at end of episode one. I don't know anything about the Invincible story outside of the episodes I watched, but I don't buy his backstory. Perhaps he was sent to conquer Earth? I don't trust him.
